Peepo's Taylor — Restaurant in Taylor

I usually love going to Peepos, and I’ve been going there for so long! But today was awful because there are some new workers now. I got charged for a cup of water and the straw!!! (On top of the meal I ordered) I have never heard of any place charging for a cup of water. Anyways not a big deal. Then I get my meal and my brother has a huge pile of fries and I had half the amount he had so I brought it up to the worker and he apologized and they gave me some more. I thought they were nice at that point until it got time to leave. Peepos closes at 7:30 pm which we didn’t know cause we thought it closed at 8 and we came late so we were packing up to leave at 7:35 (yes I checked the time) and right then one of the workers who is kinda short and mean looking said “sorry ladies but just wanna let you know we’re closed now.” Like ok can you not see us packing up to leave? Sorry that we stayed over five minutes, and I’m sorry you look like you don’t like your job and hate your life... he’s the same one that say “we charge for straws” LOL. Seriously don’t go here, totally not worth your money to be talked to rudely. I always get along with restraurant workers and this is literally the first time I had this issue. I don’t even ever leave reviews unless it’s a good review but it was bad enough that I had to leave one....

Years ago an arabic friend used to bring me a chicken sub from some place in dearborn. It was my frist time eating anything arabic. I was in love. Then I started eating it with garlic, I was crazy in love. My favorite part was the bread. Since then, I always get shawarmas...missing that sub bread. I ate peepos for the first time the other day, it was the same wonderful sub bread ive been missing all these years!!! Now, i wont eat anywhere else but this place, and will stick with peepos chicken subs, with some garlic on the side. My s/o got the africano and loved it. To make it short and simple, Im sold. After my dearborn place. i started going to beruit gardens.......But I Absolutely love this place, and will go here from now on. In fact I just got it again tonight. I am crazy in love!!!! I stopped in the other day and placed a carry out order to which I spend $60.00, I don’t visit this side of town that often (From Monroe) but was in the area and decided to stop and get lunch. This was my second time eating food from here. It will be my last. You only get one time with me. I ordered for two people. I ordered 1 chicken and 1 steak loaded fries. Both were very good. I also ordered 2 orders of the steak egg-rolls. This is where the disappointment comes in. They cut them in half giving you 4 half’s in each box. Every single one were burnt. You couldn’t eat them. I mean completely and totally burnt. I know the cook knew. But it only goes to show, check your food boxes before you leave. I live way too far away to get surprise later when I get home.
