This place is an absolute gem!! Cute little spot downtown that would be great if your trying to bring in (and impress family) or if your just with some buddies and want to try some great beers.
We had a group of over 20 (no reservation) and we were well accomdared and service was great.
But, I didn't stop there, (and I would give them 10/5 stars for this extra effort) we lost a sententamental item and couldn't find it for a few days, we called the bar hoping it would be there somehow. A kind young man took the message and the next day I received a text early in the morning saying they had found the item. We live in canyon lake and Jessica was kind enough to mail the item to us, asking only that she hoped we would stop by some time in the future again. Wow just wow, Jessica and the young man who answered the phone are exactly who I would want working for my company and were kind and understanding the whole time.
Thank you to Texas beer company of Taylor tx I can't wait...
Read moreTexas Beer Company is situated in a very old (but totally updated) historic building on the corner of Main and 2nd Street in Downtown Taylor. It's a historic area with amazing architecture to check out. Very comfortable and spacious, tons of bar seating as well as many picnic tables for groups to sit at. They often have live music and host special events like Tuesday Night Trivia (so fun!) and viewing parties. Fantastic beer that's brewed right in the building and at a taproom down the road, plus a large selection of other great draft and canned/bottled beer. They have locally sourced wine as well, and yummy appetizers. TBC is a family owned brewery that basically started the revitalization of Taylor. They support other local businesses and are a great establishment. Come here to drink great beer, hang out with really warm and friendly people, and enjoy the small town vibe just outside of Austin. I love that they're dog and kid...
Read moreOne should not visit Taylor without stopping at TBC. It was sad to see them shut down their tap room in downtown Taylor, considering they were pivotal in it's revitalization. But they've opened up at their brewery down the road. It's such a great place with an awesome backyard vibe. They often welcome local food vendors and continue to be an important part of making Taylor great. I'm always proud when I see their beer in other parts of the state. Make sure to tour their facitlity and pull up a stool to have a few beers while you're there. Grab yourself a six-pack when you see them at your local grocery and support small business and small...
