Coffee House Diner — Restaurant in Taylorsville

Let me just tell you about the evil that was just witnessed....

Took the kids to Coffee House (Taylorsville) to eat today. There was 3 cooks and 5 waitresses. There was a much older lady waitressing and was running around working hard. About 30 minutes of us being there this woman named LISA came in to work. And wasn't worried about anything except going to the much older lady's table once the customers were finished and TOOK HER TIPS!! She wasn't serving or "waiting" on the customers at all, she would wait til the older lady would turn to refill glasses or take orders and RUSH over to take her tips. After 6 or 8 tables of doing this she had the nerve to pull out what appeared to 25-30 dollars in tips waving them in the older lady's face taunting her....."see here I bust the table...I take the tips". The poor old lady just says "that's not right, Lisa, I waited those tables". I sat there and sat there watching and listening. My kids watching and listening. The older lady was obviously upset but LISA the evil heffer didn't care. I really couldn't tell if the other workers were all in on it or if that LISA was bullying all the workers. Everyone of them were upset. I guess they are not used to being that busy!! It appeared they knew LISA was going table to table taking over the older lady's section taking her money. Several times the little old lady simply walked ,shaking and upset. And the other workers just stood by like behavior was normal. But LISA would taunt and belittle her. Customers could hear and see what was happening. LISA slamming plates, salt and pepper shakers, making the environment hostile. This can't be the 1st she has done this. So why is she...

I went to the Coffee House in Taylorsville, NC this morning, July 5th, 7:20 am, to have breakfast. I haven't eaten here in probably two years or more. This is my review:

WOW. First, when I got there, the place was mostly full with one table open and a few bar seats. I set down at the bar and watched as there was only one waitress, two cooks, and a lady washing dishes. Even though the waitress was very busy taking care of at least 20 other customers, I had only been there about a minute before she came and took my drink order. She left to do something else and was back within 2 minutes to take my order. This lady hustled with juggling food orders, drink refills, and she also ran the cash register. The two cooks were very busy as well and the food was great. I never seen the lady washing the dishes take a break either. The waitress also made sure to take people their food when it was hot even if it meant leaving people standing in line at the register to pay. I wish I would have got the waitress' name so I could give her a shout out. I did take her picture though. I...

This place was great they stay open till 10:00 on a Sunday which is rare for small towns in North Carolina. Are waitress was absolutely amazing she was attentive maid polite conversation with us. Recommended items on the menu to us. I'm a picky eater and I had absolutely nothing to complain about at this meal. The ranch dressing is House made and was tasty. I enjoyed a Belgian waffle with pecans and extra crispy hash browns . My companion had the Philly cheese steak with bacon and french the steak was actual cut steak and not stake'ems type of meat which we greatly appreciate. Will 100% be back as Me and my companion enjoyed our meals thoroughly.
