Decided to eat here due to the many good reviews. Unfortunately for me, I've had the opportunity to eat at an Italian restaurant owned and run by a Sicilian immigrant. Giovanni's could never even come close (even on a bad day for the Sicilian restaurant). Ordered a pineapple+pepperoni pizza, received a pepperoni pizza. Went back to fix it, got a pineapple pizza lol. Picked up the first slice and everything that wasn't the crust/dough just slid off and back into the box 🤣 Got some "garlic bread" which looked almost croton size and it came with the sauce that could rival the one at Chuck E Cheese. My boyfriend even regularly eats garbage frozen lasagna and was disappointed by the fresh one from here. Out of the two small pizzas, garlic bread, and lasagna; only one slice of pizza was eaten, about 20% of the small size lasagna was consumed, and I tasted the croton garlic bread. Overall, a laughable experience.

Best pizza in Taylorsville small done in area but comfortable clean bathrooms good service friendly staff free refills if you haven't tried it you should cause you missing out pizza made your way by brick oven I came up with the very thin crust very light souce heavy on the breakfast bacon and pepperoni with normal cheese cooked well done to a crisp and it is so good at Giovanni's that they've started putting that pizza on their menu must come out and try it

Called over 32 times with no success to make a Togo order. Even tried to order online but that was not a option after 4??? Can order Pizza Hut online but not Giovannis? finally gave up and ordered elsewhere. Might be a good investment to buy some new phones/have people to answer?

Chose restaurant based on website menu as OK place to go with kids due to variety listed. Arrived in parking lot to find limited parking and a long line of cars surrounding building for drive through. Looks like more people take out from here than eat in. Stepped into restaurant to find very small dining area. Our party of 5 sat down. Took some time for waitress to literally throw 2 menus at us to look at. Well needless to say, the actual menu only has 5 or 6 salads, a handful of sandwiches, pizza, and fries along with a few pasta plate choices. Definitely not the menu on this website. Only listed maybe one third of items. Came close to leaving at that point but waited patiently for waitress to return. When I asked her if there was a different menu because the one she gave us was so limited, she stated that the website menu did not belong to them and that people would call in orders from website menu just to find out they do not have listed items. I was very disappointed. Well, we figured we were there so we might as well give it a shot. We stayed and ended up ordering pizza and fries. While waiting we observed the waitress running around like crazy as she was the only person taking care of the dining customers. This poor girl was taking orders, refilling drinks, delivering food to tables, as well as running food out to waiting cars from the drive thru. There were at least 5 empty tables waiting to be cleared of dishes and cleaned, but got very little help from another girl that came out only twice to help her while we were there. People came in and had to actually sit at these dirty tables in order to get them cleared off, sometimes after ordering their soda and getting a menu. Well, we finally got our pizza. It was good pizza but I don't think I would return as a diner. If I specifically wanted just pizza, I would do what most of their customers do and call it in and go pick it up. This establishment is definitely more focused towards their drive thru business than their actual dining customers. They also need to hire more help for the dining room on busy nights in order to improve the dining experience. That poor waitress definitely earns her pay...

Very disappointed. 2 of us went. We came in together, we sat down together, we ordered together. Got our drinks, about ten mins my Stromboli sandwich came, we figured the small pizza my husband ordered (remember at the same time I ordered mine), would follow. 5mins. 10 mins. 15 mins went by. No one came to tell us why it wasn't out yet. My meal was done, I even ate slow enough that it was cooling off a great deal. Finally out came his small pizza. Waitress says "can I get you anything" hubby says yeah a box to go. I said yeah and drinks to go too. No apology for taking so long, just excuses... "oh we are busy" we said, "not when we came in". She wasn't happy. Ok I get places are short handed, I get that pizza could of taken 5 muns longer. But what I don't get is why bring my food out LONG before the other person's order is ready? ! And no one saying ...it will be a few mins more. Your a restaurant , the cooks get an order. You time the order to come out at same time, not pushing 30 mins apart. We almost walked out, but we hoped they would make it right. Oh no. At register we were told, oh sorry. That's it. We have had a few bad experiences here before. But waitress was always good. Not tonight. And we live in Taylorsville, we like to stay in our town for needs, and to support our locals.

I give the experience a big 0! If you can't keep your customers happy it's a shame. We used to enjoy coming to eat here. We'll you lost our support and that saddens me. We've traveled the country, traveled outside our country, and we do know good restaurants. Pandemic fall out doesn't excuse the lack of courtesy to your customers. 😥 I do not like to give a...

It's incredibly frustrating when you wait 40 Minutes just for a sub.

Takes forever to refill drinks...if you even get a refill... the waitress is in such a rush that she's spilling stuff left and right. The last 2 times I've been there the waitress is just way to over worked. She's got a good spirit thou! To make things worse you have 3-4 girls just standing there at the register watching her struggle. How does that look for your customers when they are waiting 40 minutes for something simple and the staff just appears to be standing there chatting.(While your waitress who should be paying attention to the customers is preoccupied cleaning the floor/tables that the 3-4 chatters could be doing for her) Or you have your customers have to rearrange tables while your staff just says "yeah you can move them tables there"(no joke)

I really think that in my opinion they shrug off the patrons dining in so they can get the drive thru going. They are in a bad location to have a driving that busy

Even paying is incredibly slow, it seriously took about 15 minutes just to pay ... With only 1 person in-front of me in line!!! Remember how I said there's 3-4 girls standing at the register just watching the waitress struggle......they scatter as soon as someone approaches the register.

It's a shame the only positive notes are the food is really pretty good...and the 3-4 girls standing there doing nothing sure are pretty....... It's just sad that they don't have enough seating, well managed staff, or sense of urgency. If they had this the restaurant would be...
