Originally gave this place for Stars about a month ago and said that it was one of the best places to eat in town but I am revoking that review because of the experience that my mother and I and some friends had yesterday for my mother's birthday. The waitress we had was very rude unfortunately I didn't get her name . we ordered the chicken fried steak dinner and the only vegetable they had were green beans as an option which my mom cant eat . and then when we finally got our food it was terrible . the chicken fried steak tasted like and was super tiny. the white gravy was like water and had no taste and was super runny. The chicken noodle soup which used to be to die for were so salty and so spicy I nor our friend could eat it . we got French fries and nobody could eat them they were soggy and so salty . I will never eat here again I feel bad that my mom had to have her birthday dinner here . this used to be by far the best place to eat in town and it has gone downhill and continues to do down hill. And not to mention the ridiculous wait times for food when there was only one other table besides us . and honestly you should have more than one option for a vegetables. The waitress literally asked us what vegetable we wanted with our dinner and as we started naming vegetables off she angrily said we only have green beans. If that was the case then why did you ask us what we wanted, what about people that are allergic to green beans I just don't get any other choice of vegetables...
Read moreIt would be nice to know when you’re open without driving off this mountain only to see a closed sign....again... A simple outgoing message on your phone answering machine saying these are hours and we will or will not be open on this holiday. 60% of the businesses in this valley open when it’s cinv for THEMSELVES. Business is geared towards tourism closed on weekends… Businesses geared toward locals closed during the week… And that’s why 60% of the businesses in this valley… Our no more… at the very least, state your hours including holidays an honor those hours regardless of weather you feel it’s Not worth it to stay open on that day… Because next week on that day you can be guaranteed no business will show up. … All dressed up with no place to go… Especially since you’ve only recently reopened and nothing about your place is what you claimed it would be when you closed for remodel. That’s a lot of money to spend only to have the same “so-so” business...
I’ll give you one star because the one time I did find you open I had the same frozen meat dinner you’ve always served there’. Not the steakhouse dinner I was promised… also because I can never determine whether or not you’re open.
Happy...
Read moreMe and my fiancé had dinner the night before last and it was great. My chipotle turkey panini was to die for with slabs of avocado and a nice slice of turkey, I could only eat half. My fiancé got fish and chips that he had been craving. He’s very picky about seafood and he enjoyed his fish, it was nice and flaky and not too fishy. The waitress explained what it was battered in, which he appreciated. For desert he got the deep fried cheesecake sundae (amazing) and I got a hot chocolate. All for around $35. Service, on top of everything else, was helpful and very efficient.
EDIT:Dick Weeds Bar and grill right next door did not disappoint, ice cold draft beer with perfectly cooked rib eye and jumbo shrimp with sweet green beans and bacon and baked red potatoes...I was not dissapointed. My fiancé again got fish and chips with jumbo shrimp because he loved it so...
