Bill & Dave's Smokin' Pit — Restaurant in Tell City

First visit for wife and I today. We both got pork platter and 2 sides. Our drinks were cold but so was the pork, mac n cheese, beans and the dinner roll. All just room temperature. Pork was more like bits and pieces and not pulled. You had to look through it before you ate it to filter out the bad pieces. Once our food was served we never saw server again. A lady asked us how our meal was and we told her. She said next time we come in to see her if the meal was not right but didn't offered to do anything for the meal we just had. Its really disappointing to walk into a barbecue restaurant and get served with brisket in a bowl that has been microwaved so that the ends are scorching hot and the center cold and the brisket was cut with the grain instead of against it so it was tough. Basic meat slicing 101 and this is supposed to be a professional barbecue joint. I feel like if the staff paid attention to the food as much as they stood around in the back and talked about the customers then the food might actually be really good quality and they charge a premium price for the kicker. Firstly I'm just gonna say I love pork, and I love BBQ. This place was expensive and terrible. I got a pound of "pulled pork" but it was literally 60+% fat. I've never had pulled pork I didn't love before this, and I'm half convinced they use their scraps to make it. Not to mention the barbecue sauce smelled absolutely vile, (I got it on the side and tossed it as soon as I caught a whiff).
