Review of Marcos Pizza:
I've been a loyal customer of Marco's Pizza for quite some time, often opting for pickup orders due to its convenient location less than half a mile away from my place. However, my recent experience with their delivery service has left me thoroughly disappointed.
Despite placing an online order with a promised delivery time of 30 minutes, the introduction of DoorDash as their delivery partner seemed to complicate matters. I received conflicting messages about the status of my order, including one claiming it had been delivered when it hadn't even reached my doorstep.
Upon reaching out to the supposed DoorDash delivery person, Nakia, I encountered significant difficulty in communication and coordination. Despite multiple attempts to contact her, she seemed unaware of the situation and hadn't even reached Marcos Pizza.
After contacting Marcos directly and speaking with a manager named Garrett, I was met with disbelief and accusations of dishonesty regarding the delivery. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue and request a credit for the undelivered order, Garrett's dismissive and confrontational attitude only exacerbated the situation.
To my dismay, it was revealed that the delivery person had mistakenly left the order at a crisis center, despite my residence being just a few blocks away. After a prolonged and frustrating ordeal, the pizza eventually arrived, albeit significantly later than expected.
Garrett's unprofessionalism and lack of empathy throughout this ordeal were particularly egregious, leaving me with no desire to ever patronize Marco's Pizza again. Read moreThe food wasn't that bad. However, I stayed about four miles away and the food almost took two hours the first time to get to my location. Once the deliver arrived she had claimed that the order had flipped upside down and she could either return the order and she would deliver us a new order, or we could just take the order as is. We went with option one. After calling the manager, who had the worst attitude about the situation, we decided to forgive and forget and let karma take care of it. We again almost waited an hour and a half for the second order, which unsurprisingly, turned out to be not what we had ordered. We called the manager yet again and he had said that he could have another driver come back to pick the order up, but could not refund us, or remake the order due to them closing. The order we recieved was in no way anything closed to what we had paid. We ordered four specialty pizza's, and a pepperoni, with two orders of the cheese bread. What we got in return was two pepperoni, a sausage, and a half cheese half bacon pie. Again, the food wasn't that bad, but the delivery process and the management were both piss poor. Read moreThis pizza place is close to our neighborhood in the lake Magdalene community of Tampa. As a treat, my husband and I like to order pizza once a week no help keep local business going and to indulge a little. The service has been heading down hill consistently over the last mont with forgotten salad, over an hour and a half wait time, inaccurate tracking info saying that the pizza has been delivered when it wasn’t and when we call, the lackadaisical non concern of the people on the phone is disrespectful. Despite the “new way,” that stores are handling complaints, the pen is still mightier than the sword and word of mouth spreads very fast. After calling and speaking with an individual named Garrett about the fact that our driver came and delivered everything but the pizza, there was no sorry no sense of urgency and told me that it would be another 25 mins before the salad was delivered and all that he could do was offer a credit for a future order. There will be no future order from me and I’m pretty sure none of my neighbors will be ordering anymore either. I will be posting this to google as well and on my community shopping page.
