Taco Bell — Restaurant in Temple

Traveling through on my way to Dallas at night. Had to go inside because the driver's side window of the company van I was driving doesn't go down. Went to the counter and waited for an employee to take my order. After being told there was a customer at the counter, he finally appeared a few moments later. Just as he was approaching, two women came out of the hall the restrooms are in (I guess there's an entrance door down the as well). They basically jumped in front of me (because I was standing against the counter (so the people in the kitchen could see that I was there) and started to tell him that they were in the drive-thru but had to use the restroom. He went to the drive thru and got their tickets and proceeded to ring up their orders (plural) again and process their transactions without even acknowledging me. Finally he took my order. Of course, I now had to wait for their orders to be made before mine. I finally got my one Burrito Supreme. I went out to my van and unwrapped it before getting back on the highway. It was mostly cold. It felt as though the tortilla hadn't even been warmed. As a result, it proceeded to tear apart at the folds at the top and bottom of the burrito. The filling started to ooze out the bottom. It was clear that I couldn't eat this while driving and I had to waste more time eating it in the parking lot before continuing my trip. Mediocre at best. As a semi-regular at Taco Bells across central Texas, I feel like a can adequately give this Taco Bell a solid 5 stars. (And no, I don’t know anyone that works there, I’m not an owner and/or affiliated in any way)

While passing through Temple late last night we thought it was a great time for our 4th meal, and where else would be go than the top rated Taco Bell in town at 2.5 stars (on apple, 3.8 on google).

We arrived at the seemingly newly constructed building with the latest technology and facilities. Clean parking lot and common area. The screen that took our order was working properly and also had everything up to date.

Both employees that we interacted with (I didn’t have their names) taking our order and handing us our food were super chipper for the time of day, friendly and patient.

Even better, they got everything right in our order, including a very complicated and highly modified Crunchwrap supreme that was executed perfectly chefs kiss.

The cherry on top was the fact that they gave us ample amounts of hot sauce...

Had a small issue with the amount of nacho cheese in a ramacan, talked to management about dissatisfaction. the cheese originally was a little under half way and considering the size of these ramacans that's really not a lot of cheese. when we went to point this out we were told by an employee that "we can't fill them any more than that" after that a manager came over, I offered to pay extra for different full ramacans. Instead she took the ramacans i complained about and brought back two more from the back. it looked full on first glance however when I opened it it was even less than the first with the exception that it looked like this one had been turned over to look full by coating the edge...
