Tamarindos — Restaurant in Temple

First of all it smells musty in there and dirty and I tried to look past it every time , the wait times are ridiculous there’s like 4 women doing stuff and they take their sweet time . They charged me 8$ for a watermelon cup , literally a small watermelon cup . I could’ve just gone and bought 2 whole watermelons from H‑E‑B what ! And every single time I order anything they only put a little bit of Chilli on top and drown it in this nasty chamoy liquid probably the cheapest they can find . Once I got a corn in a cup and the corn was bad already , idk how long they let it sit in the fridge but it smelt bitter and was mushy and slimy . I’ve tried to give them many many chances since they’re a family business but it’s just bad service and gross food. I've eaten here several times. I like it very much. it's convenient to temple college but mostly frequented by Hispanics speaking Spanish, which I regard as a good sign. it has healthy and tasty Mexican food. fresh ingredients, including fresh fruits and desserts made of fresh fruits. the liquados are really good. the fructa loco is amazing and huge. I feel that I get a reasonable amount of food for the price. it doesn't have real vegetarian options for main meals, but they are flexible if you tell them. Mangonada smoothie was okay. I disliked the Duro con Cueritos. The menu did not have a list of ingredients per item. My husband order the dorilocos. It was a small portion and the picture on the wall didn’t have any cream and cheese showing but when we received it guess what it had...cheese and sour cream (the smell was strong). We decided to give this place a try but it was not up to our standards. We will just continue going to the place at the Temple Mall or the one in Belton...
