Ranch House Inn & Suites — Hotel in Temple

I will never stay at this hotel again! Not only is the hotel run down and outdated, but this hotel has roaches and bed bugs. As soon as I checked into the hotel, (and I hadn't even unpacked my suitcases yet) I sat in a chair in the room and got bit a few times by bed bugs. I thought I had gotten bitten by mosquitos because I had the door open for a few minutes when I arrived, even though I never saw any mosquitos. Well, a few minutes later I saw two very tiny bugs crawling on the floor and didn't know what they were, so I stepped on them and kicked them away. Then I was about to sit on the chair again and that's when I noticed all of these same bugs crawling on the chair, which turned out to be bed bugs. I literally counted like 20 of them crawling on the chair. When I first sat on the chair, there were none on the chair. I guess when I sat on the chair, I disturbed them, and they all came out from inside of the chair. Keep in mind, this was during the day, and I was told bed bugs don't come out during the day, but these do. Well... I went to the office window and told the female manager that was working that there were bed bugs in my room and that I would like another room. Her disrespectful response was "How are there bed bugs in your room when we just put in a new bed?". I told her the bed bugs aren't in the bed, they're in the chair. So, she put me in another room. In the new room I saw a bed bug on the floor. I went back to the lady manager and told her the hotel is infested with bed bugs and I would like a refund. She replied with an attitude and told me that she has put me in another room they just renovated so how can that room have bed bugs too, and that she was NOT going to give me my money back!". I didn't exchange words with her because I let God handle bad people. I just went back to the room and anxiously waited for check-out the next morning. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone! Do...

Me and my family were planning on staying for about a month or two. First of all, the pictures of the rooms on here currently are NOTHING compared to how it actually looks in real life, dust EVERYWHERE, which i had to vacuum, the fan in our room was hanging off the ceiling which I had to repair myself, our bed was disgusting (it didn't even have a sheet on it just a top sheet) mattress is nasty. Our family cant all leave at the same time because the lock on the door never works. Have to get the office to let us back in. Roaches everywhere...had to buy roach baits. Windows are from the 60's or 70's have mold along the windowsills. Floor is asbestos tiles from God only knows when. Bathtub leaks water everywhere. Internet is terrible...and to top it off they charge us more than other residents. One week its 335 next week 355 one week we even paid 360. The place is a health hazard. Staff, very unprofessional and rude. Our room is now cleaner compared to what it was before because WE cleaned it. I do NOT recommend...

My name is sugar I live at the ranch house with my daddy we really loved here my daddy's name is Tim Zimmerman and my mommy's name is Anne Donovan she is so sweet we really love living here the people are very friendly and very cool there's all kinds of things around here to do the staff the owner the management they're all very very nice they all like me very very good come visit the ranch house and bring your dog for it's a very safe place to live it's like a very good home God bring me here now I'm here with my dad making him feel safe and very happy God bless you all and all by the way we're near the VA hospital Walmart HEB there's a convenience store in a dollar store around us come and visit us and enjoy a very very nice place to live it has everything you want it has a stove refrigerator microwave swimming pool and very very friendly people come enjoy yours it's just like a very very nice home I love you my name is sugar God...
