Long Hollow Grill is one of the best kept restaurant secrets in Rhea County. The restaurant at the Dayton Golf & Country Club has quadrupled the size of its menu, and the big-screen TVs make it an ideal place to watch a noon Vols game. While the menu is large, the prices are not. Six-dollar appetizers like fried green beans and giant tater tots stuffed with a creamy potato-sour cream-bacon-and chive filling were delicious. As a Damn Yankee transplanted from Buffalo, I take my wings seriously. The jumbo-sized wings, fried till crispy and tossed in the classic hot sauce and butter sauce, left my lips burning and my taste...

For a golf course grill it's awesome. Usually a bit warm inside which is a plus or a minus depending on your thermostat. Taco Tuesday - not my favorite as the tacos are a bit plain. Wing Wednesday - very good, best wings around without a doubt. The wet siracha bourbon is the best I have tasted. You can really taste the bourbon. The dry Jamaican jerk is my other favorite. This spot is a hidden gem! While en route to another city, we made an unplanned stop and were pleasantly surprised. The customer service was excellent, the ambiance was laid-back, and the food was delightful. I opted for their largest burger, a double cheeseburger, perfectly cooked with delicious seasoning, and the Cajun fries were outstanding. I would highly recommend this...
