McDonald's — Restaurant in Tennessee

Over the weekend we ordered 2 Steak Egg & Cheese Biscuits, 1 Steak Egg & Cheese Bagel, pancakes, & 2 hashbrowns. Once returning home we unfortunately realized that the Steak Egg & Cheese Bagel had No Steak on it and the hashbrowns were missing. We called into the location and spoke with a manager who claimed to write down the mistake in the book and said we could come back at our convenience to get the Steak Egg & Cheese Bagel and 2 Hashbrowns. When trying to get the replacement food a couple days later at our convenience we were then told that it wasn't in the book and nothing would be done about it. At that point a formal complaint was filed with the corporation. I contacted the store and spoke with Jennifer the only manager that claimed to be working breakfast over the weekend. She said she did not take any phone call or write anything in the book. I explained that this service was unacceptable that there should be retraining or something done because a basic menu item should not be served without the meat (the steak). Also if a manager claims to write something in the book they should actually do so not repeat the mistake back to the customer twice as if doing so but actually do nothing. She proceeded to then become argumentative and say, "Do you want to come down here and work!" To that I replied I have worked in fastfood for over 8 years and the service they are providing at this location is completely unacceptable! After looking at the other reviews for this location the score is extremely low with many other unhappy customers leaving poor reviews and telling of their experiences. I decided to leave my experience here as well in hopes that there will be retraining put into place. I understand mistakes happen but leaving the Steak off of a Steak Egg & Cheese Bagel seems like an easy mistake to not make. I give this location 1 star, and if possible, I would rate this location in the negative. The night staff will allow customers to sit outside in the drive-thru without serving them in the hopes they will just drive off. After waiting a total of 20 minutes, observing another car wait a few minutes before driving off, and even driving around to the drive-thru window to wait another additional five minutes, I was not once greeted or acknowledged. I understand working in the service industry isn't always pleasant, because I myself am a server; however, being completely ignored is just plain rude. The cherry on top wasn't being ignored while at the drive-thru, nor even being ignored when calling into the intercom or waiting at the drive-thru window, but was when I drove around to the front of the "24-hour" fast food restaurant and observed the two employees talking and laughing. After going to another McDonald's, the employee informed me when a car approaches the drive-thru intercom, a beeping noise is heard inside of the restaurant in order to alert the employees that someone is waiting to order. I also have experienced a similar experience described in another review a view times at this location, where they only accept cash.
