Surprisingly pleasant roadside tavern offering good food options not of typical bar food. The rice and shrimp bowl was delicious as was the black and bleu burger . The fries could be crispier but they were tasty. Reviews of slow service were unbounded at our visit. It was super busy nor dead. Servers didn't move quickly but the vibe was more relaxed and we enjoyed our beers while we waited 20 minutes for our food. Noteworthy is the clean bathroom and contrary to another reviewer, the servers did wear masks and they were extremely accommodating. Worthy stop after a MTB ride. Outdoor seating with a lake viewx across the street was an extra bonus on a beautiful 80° November day!

Unbelievable!! Ordered the Black N Blue burger and it is easily one of the best burgers I've ever tasted...anywhere!! The fries are equally as awesome!! The Lucky Rooster is just a great place to eat!! Simple menu, with simple ingredients, and done extremely well!!!! Environment was nice and clean. Service was great and the prices are very reasonable and affordable!!!!! Truly one of the new gems in the area and in Wilson County!!!!!

Nothing to see here... except great service & hospitality. We went for brunch which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The service was excellent. The Cheese Burger & fries did look very good. Overall, they have done an excellent job remodeling what used to be the old Nashville Jam. They have created a bright clean looking bar with several TVs, nice bar and nice patio with a great view of the water.

It's a hole in the wall, so while I ranked 4 stars don't expect Ruth Chris'. I called ahead to make sure they would have the BBQ they advertised on socials, but when I received my order I was more than disappointed because the trays (two in total) did not LOOK like the quantities discussed. Once I got it home and plated it, for 4 smaller appetites, it turned out it was actually enough food with no leftovers. We received (per 3 piece tray) 1 sausage, 1 small rib rack, and a portion of pulled pork on bread, with two sides. The beans, though dry, were my favorite. I didn't mind them being dry, but someone else in our party did so I figured I'd mention that. The mac was also dry/not creamy but I didn't find fault in the flavor and would order again. The slaw is standard and the potato salad was unique with pieces of pickle chopped into it, along with what appeared to be a fruit but I couldn't tell what. The sausage tasted grilled and the ribs had curry seasoning which was unique. Overall, I was both surprised and happy with this purchase and will return if they offer this again. Service for our to-go order was quick, food was good, restaurant appeared to be clean, parking lot in front could use some work, but it is near a lake and I hear they've had a rough couple years, so again not a complaint just an...

We went for our first time last night. My dad has not left the house in a long time due to covid and wanted to try a restaurant 2 minutes from his house. I will first say this place has potential. The nachos are great and the rest of the menu isn't bad. It would be a convenient place to meet up for a drink and appetizer after work. However, it took forever for us to order. There were tables being sat and fed that came after us, way before we could even order. I think the worst thing is that they do not practice safe social distancing standards. They tell you to sit wherever you like. The seating is packed. The staff don't wear masks and the paper towels are served on a roll that appears that other customers have handled before you. I'm giving this place 3 stars because location and food is great. But they could practice social distancing better and have more...
