Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Texarkana

06/2023 this has happened twice. Open box and a roach crawled out, once from box and once out of bag. D.m says roaches aren't that bad but if twice with a month in between apparently they are.

Food is not good. Tired of old, dried out semi burnt chicken (that's like eating a rock) and cold fries. I usually get the 4 piece chicken strip basket. The steak fingers usually have pieces of gristle in it that is like eating rubber so quit getting that one and started trying chicken. The gravy container is usually cracked and leaks out and makes everything soggy and gross. Out of the last 5 visits at least twice the chicken was dried out and old looking or burnt. Typically I don't give bad reviews but this one will be different. Tuesday March 10th I go to Dairy Queen on Lake Drive order tacos meat and cheese only. They were in a rush to close didn't have time to even glance at order. I told very SPECIFICALLY MEAT AND CHEESE ONLY 2 TIMES because I have gotten lettuce wilted and nasty and I'm highly allergic to tomatoes. Get home covered in wilted lettuce and tomatoes. Couldn't touch food because of food allergies. Waste of money and time. I also updated there phone # and hours of operation for them so people could reach them and know when open and closed. My wife wanted a quick light lunch before driving home.

This Dairy Queen was the first place we saw.

I got her a hamburger and sweet ice tea.

I wanted ice cream cone.

I had forgotten how good an ice cream cone is on a hot Saturday.

The mailman makes it his lunch spot. Young kids/adults breezed in and out.

Nice spot for a quick meal or an ice cream cone...they will dip it in...
