If you're looking for an authentic wine experience guided by genuine expertise and passion, look no further than Britt's wine shop. What sets this place apart isn't just the impressive collection of wines, but the personalized attention that Britt provides to each customer. His encyclopedic knowledge and uncanny ability to match wines to personal preferences means I've never walked away with a recommendation that wasn't spot-on for my taste or occasion. Beyond retail, Britt hosts memorable dinner events where his carefully curated wines are paired with delicious food, showcasing his understanding of culinary harmony.

What truly distinguishes Britt's shop is his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. In an age of rushed service, Britt consistently puts the customer experience above all else. Even when you arrive minutes before closing time, he takes the same care to help you find the perfect bottle as he would during peak hours. Whether you're a wine aficionado or someone who doesn't know their Cabernet from their Merlot, Britt creates a welcoming space where everyone can learn, taste, and appreciate wine without pretension. Five stars, without hesitation, for a wine shop experience that prioritizes people and passion...

This place is one of my favorite places in East Texas overall. If you haven’t been by, I can’t recommend it highly enough, it is a true wine and dine experience unparalleled to any other. They have a superb selection of wines, and expertise on each and every one of them. The owner, Britt, is a professional wine maker that makes some of the best wines that I personally have ever had, and I’ve tasted some of the best there is. The prices are amazing, you would not get such value for the quality of products, service, and experience anywhere else, guaranteed. If you are on the edge about making the trip, take my advice and do it. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Also, while you are there, try the selection of locally made fudges, they are outstanding just like everything else they have there! I picked up some of the amazing wines while I was there, including the one pictured, Britt’s Paramour. Absolutely excellent, I also really enjoy the “House White” wine as well. He has a tasting room too where you can try all of the various wines. Recently, they did a limited release wine called “Summer Blues” that has notes of blueberry. As soon as I left, I wished I had gotten it. Needless to say, I will be going...

We've stayed in alot of HH locations since going full-time in our 41' class A. This was by far our favorite Harvest Host stay. The location is easily accessed from a very big rig friendly highway and the parking area was large enough for 2 big rigs towing without having to unhook. When we pulled in, Kim (our friends traveling with us in their 42' Class A coach) interrupted Britt's lupper, but Britt jumped up to meet us and showed us where to park. Largish paved parking lot with a large grassy field (it had been raining quite a bit before we got here), and he had us pull up onto the paved area. Britt was extremely personable, outgoing and genuinely kind. Quite a life story and very passionate about everything he does! Not only is Britt a wonderful and gracious host, he is also a fabulous chef and vintner. All of this is how he's doing retirement! His wines were very good and each had a story to tell (maybe why we ended up with a case), his food was excellent (very foodie worthy), as were the various things to sample in the retail area. His only assistant was Robert, another great hard working guy. We definitely recommend this stop to any and everyone and will definitely stay again when we're back through the area.
