This is usually my go-to Dairy Queen but after tonight I won’t be back. Our order was $40 and was taking a while. No issues with that, it’s totally understandable. The issue is that while waiting for more that 15 min we sat at the window. I looked over and watched a cook drop a steak finger on the floor, the other cooked picked it up and handed back to the cook who dropped it. The cook almost put it in the basket for the customer but decided to throw it back into the fryer instead!! He waited a minute and ended up putting it in the basket that was served to a customer. I was completely disgusted and told the manager on duty. He never apologized. He didn’t offer a refund on the food we still at this point had not received. Nothing. All he said was “Well that was dumb of them to do.”
We were then asked to pull up to the Thank You sign and a man brought out a small bag with only fries and told us to have a good night. We told him we hadn’t received any of our food and he acted confused. After a couple more minutes we got part of our order and had to tell them again that we didn’t have all the food. They finally brought out the rest of it and it was already cold so we ended up just trashing it.
I plan on calling the owners in the morning but I wanted to make customers aware that this place is ok with dropping food on the floor and...
Read moreOkay, I'm only addressing this on here because this location phones were not picking up in order for me to speak to a manager. I came through the drive-thru today at about 12:00 p.m. and I sat there for literally 10 mins before anyone said anything which was, "one second maam" so of course, fine, i dont mind waiting a couple mins but no, unfortunately, i ended up having to wait 15-20 mins and then she took my order and I ordered the Jalitos Ranch burger and asked for no lettuce on the burger which she said in response , "okay, no lettuce. Anything else?" I completed my order and then when I got to the window they gave me sweet tea which was my elderly mother's drink and she can't have sugar but didn't notice until i got back to my house, same time when I noticed my husband and I had lettuce on our burgers. And worst of all.... I'm so disgusted. This pic attached is a damn bug in the bottom of my drink when I poured the rest down the sink 🤢. This was the most awful fast food experience I've probably ever had in my life! If y'all cannot operate while being "short staffed" then maybe it's time to shut her down. My God. 🤦 Y'all please...
Read moreThe food was very good, as always. This DQ has been a go-to stop for my family and me. We loved the Christian music playing, the Bible on the countertop, the atmosphere.
For the remainder of this review, I'm sharing what I put on Facebook after a very unpleasant experience yesterday:
To the woman at the cash register at Dairy Queen in Chandler today: Please stop wearing your "Jesus - Texas - Tacos" t-shirt if you are not going to represent Him well. When I called and asked you to PLEASE look for my wallet (because I was at least 20 minutes away when I realized I had lost it), you said you were too busy. When I finally got there and confirmed that it was not there, I confronted you and pointed out that the Bible sitting on your counter says "do unto others..." and that, had it been your wallet, you would have taken a minute to go look for it. Then you condescendingly said, "If it was MY wallet, I would have come back for it." What a cold answer. I pointed out that I got there as soon as I could. Tread lightly, sweetheart, and don't judge me too harshly for losing my wallet. You never know when you...
