Dee's Deelicous Donuts and Lunch — Restaurant in Texas

This place is no longer serves dinner, which is sad because I’m sure the food was phenomenal. These donuts is a place that has been doing what they’re doing for a long time and their regular customer base is proof of it. The majority of their customers are elderly if not getting up there. Everyone seems to know everyone’s names unless you’re just stopping in as an outsider. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come in here and someone in the kitchen ask someone waiting in line if they want the usual breakfast sandwich or the usual order. There’s good customer service and then there’s no when your customers by first name basis. The food at Dee’s delicious donuts is aptly named. While their donuts are on a whol while their donuts are on a whole new spectrum the rest of their menu is pretty much cooked to order and after trying various things on the menu I can tell you you really can’t go wrong with ordering something off the menu. Back to the donuts though, I’ve tried a lot of donuts in my life as they are one of my favorite breakfast treats. Dee’s donuts surpassed my expectations and is truly in a league of its own. Soooo good!! This reminds me of momma's cooking💗 Came in on Election Day with my husband traveling for the company & found them after googling for places nearby to eat. Met the owner after my eggs were just a touch underdone. I like my eggs over medium-hard where the yolk in not busted but not runny at all. It's hard to explain but the inside should be firm like jelly. I've never had any resteraunt do it right the first time, they didn't take offense when I sent them back & CAME OUT PERFECT when I got my plate back & were super apologetic. There was even a group of what looked like regulars all hanging out, freely filling their own coffee & even came over & offered to fill mine😍! We love this place! We are local residents and we are about to move but will still continue to come here. Their service and kindness goes a long way! They treat you like family when you pull up to that drive-thru. They know what you want and they serve it with a smile! Everything is always fresh everyday. I cannot get past how delightfully delicious their homemade biscuit sandwiches are! It's like somebody's grandma is back there literally making you homemade biscuits!
