El Jalisco's — Restaurant in Texas

Save yourself the frustration & go to the Jaliscos in town. We thought we'd try this Jalisco, since we passed it often. Big mistake! First, there was a car of shady guys with their lights off in the parking lot, watching my husband & I as we got out of our vehicle; we ended up moving the car a few minutes later, closer to the front door. We sat down, & it took forever to get waited on, despite the fact that there were only three full tables in the entire restaurant. The apparent manager was on her cell phone, watching a video behind the counter, upon our arrival. Don't ever try to use a Jaliscos coupon at this location--They'll come up w every excuse to reject it! I was fuming as we were awaiting the check so we could leave, while the manager had never even bothered to look up from her phone since we arrived! Might I add, we never received refills on our teas... And a total of THREE employees were fixated on their cell phones throughout our visit!!! So ridiculously unprofessional. Needless to say, we will not...

I love this place! Great service, prompt, uncomplicated, accommodating, and informative. Very reasonable prices, i'd say on the cheaper side, and the food quality never lacks for it. The only thing i don't like here are the steaks. Most expensive thing on the menu and always very poor gristly cuts of meat. Cooked well though! Portions are good, very filling. My favorite thing on the menu to get is the super nachos! Huge platter if you get the full order, usually loaded to the top with everything you could want. Don't forget to try the horchata either. A great meal...

I only like to have their breakfast at this location. The service provided is excellent, no complaints. No lines, no wait time... Both Jaliscos locations do not offer a detailed receipt. You don't know what you are being charged for. ??? WHY not? 🤔

Update: I now ask for an itemized receipt. Did anyone know that you get charged a credit/debit card fee? This is not disclosed to you, but on the receipt, you are charged more than the total cost plus taxes. Again, it does not tell you that you are being charged more. It just reads; Discounted if...
