Gaona's Mexican Bite — Restaurant in Texas

I want to emphasize that the food is great, but we did have a significant wait for the tortillas. We asked several times about them, especially as we noticed other tables receiving theirs while we were still waiting and nearly finished our meals without them. Eventually, we got the tortillas at the very end.

Additionally, we didn't receive any refills, and it seemed like the servers were scattered and unsure about which tables they were assigned to. It was disappointing to see their negative reactions when asked for items that other tables...

Update: third visit. oatmeal was delicious. menudo was good. actually had someone check on our table one time. Overall, there just needs to be consistency. Customer service and food vary on each visit.

Second visit: Went in for breakfast. Ordered coffee was told they only had half pot and would not be making more. Customer service. Was not good. Waiter will take your Order. bring it, and forget about coming back at all. Food is not consistent. Ate here 2 times to give it a second...

You literally feel like if you are eating at your tia’s house in Mexico. The place looks so cute and well decorated. The staff is so friendly and always on point.
