Well first of all let me say that I used to enjoy stopping by for a drink and a bite to eat. Until I went to an event they had. They had this event with male dancers so I went, never gone to one before so I thought why not? My girl friend that was with me all night wasn't too pleased with this event either. I'm just going to come right out and say that I will never be returning as long as they are Goofy's with the owners they have now. The people that own that place are married and think they're entitled to whatever. The person that actually was my bartender happened to be the man that was partial owner with his wife. He was very rude and I tried to blow it off to have a good time. He "captured" my card and failed to inform me that they put a $60 hold on your card or else you cannot buy drinks with a card. Luckily I had more than $60. This is where it gets worse though. The male dancers from "Magic Mike XXL". Drugged me that night when I failed to keep a closer eye on my drink. I had about 3 maybe 4 drinks total and about 30 minutes later completely lost control and blacked out. My girl friend was very concerned because I've had way more to drink and never blacked out or became intoxicated off of 3 or 4 drinks. I was very upset the next day hearing about what happened to me and going through it. I checked my bank account to find that I was not only overcharged for 3 drinks, but also I was charged with someone else's $70 tab. I went up there and called for the manager several times. She was the wife and partial co-owner. Who also BTW was almost NEVER present! She only refunded me my original tab amount and the rest I will have to just swallow. I have never had such a horrible experience in a bar. And I'll be damned I don't share my story with other guests who have no idea what they may be getting into! Thank you for your time and I wish you luck if you choose...

My family and I (5 people ) went in on Wednesday night for their $20 steak special. We all ordered medium Well, except for me and mine was supposed to be Well done burned. We got medium rare and bloody steak. Two of our party ate part of theirs because they didn't want to send back . Because myself and our other family member sent ours back. We got medium Well bloody steak again. The steak was supposed to be Sirloin but was very fatty and nervy and gross. We got cold vegetables and mashed potatoes with a nasty brown gravy. Ugh!🤢🤮

The last time we visit this place to eat. We will all go to Longhorn Steakhouse and gladly pay 20 for a real steak. Do not waste your money.

The atmosphere the previous time we visited was not even like a bar, it was quiet and comfortable and the food was great.

This time there were 2 bar fly men drinking and talking so loudly, who were clearly drunk and should have been cut off. They were TALKING so loud, we couldn't even hold a conversation. The juke box was blaring and just was annoying. The poor Waitress was all by herself and taking care of orders, the bar and the register. If I could not give any stars, that would be my review. The only reason I gave the 2 stars was for poor Waitress who was busting her butt. Do yourself a favor and skip the Wednesday night steak special!

Our waitress started out by not even telling us her name, and it only went downhill from there. I didn't get my side salad. And the server who brought them out went to speak to our waitress, and she didn't even pull out the tablet to check our order... which turned into us being an entree short. I have worked as a manager in the food industry for several years, and this raises several BIG RED FLAGS for me. The waitress then came over to our table and said 'the kitchen ran out of what you ordered and didn't tell me', classic server move to always blame the kitchen for their mistakes. She put our order in one person short, hands down. She offered my husband something else, but the whole reason we chose this place was because he wanted chicken fried steak. She then tried to convince me to order him something else. And THEN, decided to give him his beer for free, which according to TABC law, alcohol cannot be given free. So if you go to this establishment and you have the waitress with a white pixie cut and reader glasses.... beware, she is shady and a poor waitress, and has no problem lying to your face and providing terrible service. We traveled 7 hours here to take vacation, and I can promise we will never come back to this establishment, and will tell everyone we know to...

I took my 2 kids (16 & 9) for a quick dinner. The fried pickles are $10 and you don't get very much. Maybe a hand full. We had 2 orders of the chicken tenders as well. There was one other table, and maybe 4 people at the bar. Drinks had very little ice and melted quick on this hot day. Food came out hot and didn't take too long but we didn't get straws, found some for ourselves of another tables carry thing, no one checked to see if the food was good if we needed ketchup or anything. After eating we waited a bit before we were asked and a different lady got a to go box/drink for youngest. Then our waitress came. Our actual waitress got our drink/food order, drinks, and brought the bill. We didn't get drink refills, she didn't check on us or the food, just came back with the tablet for payment. It's was ok, but our waitress wasn't great. They weren't busy and I assume we were treated this way because I brought my kids. Just because people bring kids doesn't mean we don't tip. And we shouldn't be treated right. If we ever go through here again, we won't go back.

What a great little dive bar by the lake. We've been seeing this place for so long as we drove past it and I'm so glad that we finally stopped in and tried the food. We had chips and queso as an appetizer. The chips are homemade and freshly cooked for every order. Really good! The queso was fantastic but the salsa was just okay. My wife got the fried pickles and cheese sticks since she is a vegetarian. The pickles were really good but the cheese sticks were kind of bland. The marinara was good though. My son ordered the barbecue wings and holy moly they were huge and really really good. My daughter and I both got burgers and they were fantastic. The buns were fresh and lightly toasted, the patties were thick and perfectly cooked and the garnishes were fresh and crisp. Probably the best thing about the meal was the French fries! They were well seasoned and had a little bit of sugar mixed in with the salt. So so good!
