Joe's Mesquite Grill — Restaurant in Texas

Editing: spoke to Mr. Joe. He proceeds to yell at me on the phone and say they're not going to change anything bc I didn't like the salad, and that all the other people eat it like that.. then tells me "I heard you complain about the price so now you're complaining about the food bc you want a refund" I never asked for a refund. The same way he spoke to me is the same exact way he was speaking to his female cook.. I proceeded to tell him "I'm a customer and I'm giving you my feedback, there's no need to yell at me".. he proceeds to tell me "well I'm not changing anything" keeps talking over me like if I’m one of his wives and hangs up on me... the disrespect of this owner. Maybe bc I was a female speaking up and I’m assuming he might not like that from a female.. either or.. I won’t be back.. I’d gladly take my hard earned money somewhere where my opinion will matter and not be spoken to like I’m just some woman.. NEVER AGAIN.

First time here since it's near my job.. $18 for a salad and a water. RIDICULOUS!!! I spend the same amount next Door at Soto's and I have a margarita and one of their lunch plates. Or at The Salsita to the right and the girls there are ALWAYS SO NICE.. The owner is not friendly at all. Then was a bit rude to his cook about how my salad is suppose to be... It wasn't great at all. Super big chunks of salad.. told her only 2 chicken strips & not so much toppings... and on top of that asking for a tip when I have to get my own beverage, dressing and food. Plus, the owner taking the orders.. so tip goes to him? I don't think so. Save your self the money and check out the other places on this shopping center, this place is a 2 out of 10.....

I was visiting from out of town and found this place on my way to my friend's house. Don't judge me but I ordered the omelet, pancakes, and French toast plate. I sat down to enjoy. The omelet was bigger than I expected, the French toast came as a set of 6 half slices of toast, and my friend's son said the pancakes were good. I decided I didn't want to eat alone after all so I ended up packing up my plates to go and sharing with a friend and her son at her house. The restaurant was clean. I got there around 9:30am on a Friday a couple of weeks ago, and it was empty at the time (maybe due to COVID or their morning rush had already passed). Overall, everything was delicious!...

I got the "buffalo chicken sandwich combo" and for what I paid this was atrocious. Not only was the sandwich sloppy and falling apart but the chicken itself looks like they boiled it instead of grilling it at all. Way too overpriced and was definitely disappointed to say the least. The Sandwich was also packaged poorly so all the hot sauce spilled from the container and soaked everything inside and ate away at the bag itself resulting in it's tearing open also all of the contents in the bag such as the napkins, receipt, ECT being completely covered in the sauce. The only redeeming quality was the staff was nice but that's about it. Will not be returning for overpriced...
