Killdeer's BBQ — Restaurant in Texas

The BBQ is good, and we've been enjoying this place since it opened. The last several times we went, they've cheated us on meat portions, and they just can't seem to get the order right. Today, we ordered a half pound of lean, and we got about 6oz. I ordered a sliced beef sandwich and got chopped beef. This is the second time they have not put sauce in the bag, and we didn't realize it until we got home. I guess we need to check everything every time from now on. Being cheated on the meat for the third time in a row is really frustrating. My wife is rufusing to give them money again, so I guess it'll just be me and my sandwiches unless they...

I avoided this place for a while because it didn’t seem to have much business. But that was a mistake. When I finally went I was pleasantly surprised. I tried the brisket, ribs, and sausage (no sides), and all were very good.

The guy at the window was super nice. He genuinely seemed happy to be there.

The prices are reasonable. I mean, all BBQ is expensive these days (in my opinion). But the prices were lower than Tejas, for example.

I’m happy this place is so close. I just wish they were open Mon-Wed, so I could go for lunch...

We stopped for a bite or eat while traveling through. To be honest, we pulled up to go to the restaurant next door. But the number of people at the restaurant next door was disheartening. When we got out of the car, the smell of expertly cooked BBQ was calling us instead. We were not disappointed! The covered sitting area was welcoming, and the staff were very kind and wanted to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was excellent! We will be back if we are ever in...
