Tailgate Grill — Restaurant in Texas

Me and my family come there at least 2-3 times a month . We was there last Saturday 7-12-25 ordered our food I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and forgot to remove a few condiments from the burger when the waitress came around I told her there was a mistake with it and she said she put another one in for me . My family had already eaten and I was still waiting it had been at least 10-15 minutes so I just said forget it . We went up to pay and the burger that was messed up and the new one the had to put on was on the bill . I just told them to take it off cause I hadn’t received it yet so she removed the second burger . But said there was no way to remove the first burger I asked why and she acted like she had no clue what she was doing . She fooled with the computer for 5 mins or so and just said I can’t take it off cause she didn’t know how . Told us we couldn’t get a refund and there was no manager that could do it . It really left a bad taste in my mouth and not sure if I want to come back even though I love the food . I don’t feel I should’ve payed for a $15 burger (I had several veggies added to it) when I didn’t get it they was trying to charge me for the second one . She did remove the second burger but the not the first burger and we had already payed before we questioned it and then she said she couldn’t refund us the money after that cause she had no clue how to go and no...

For reference i ordered a bacon cheeseburger, zuccini sticks and a dr pepper with 1 refill. The man at the counter doesnt say thank you or even welcome. He seemed irritated or just hates his job... maybe hes the owner who knows. Cheseburger was about 13$, zucinni 7$, and soda was $2.50 with a 1$ refil (out of a can) and after tax it was right about 25$. When i went to grab my order, i noticed they didnt have ketchup so i asked for some and the guy replied " we usually give ranch with zucinni but whatever" he cheseburger was ok, but the zuccini was not good. The lady who refiled my soda (red headed lady) was really nice but i was already irritated that i spent 25$ going to a local burger place that was over priced and a bit rude. THEEE BEST. I was out here for work a few days ago and was craving a nice juicy burger with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos. I drove past this place and it caught my eye with the cool old texan design. I decided i would give the place a try so i stopped by. Sure enough they had exactly what i wanted! Dawn was taking my order and was super kind. She gave me a small amount of fries and an onion ring so i could try it. WOW! The taste was great on both, especially the onion rings. By far the best tasting onion rings ive ever had the honor of eating. A week later i took a 30 minute drive from central houston to have an amazing burger again. My lady HAD to try this amazing food.
