I’m going to preface this review by saying that typically, if I can’t leave a great review, I won’t leave one, so it really takes something negative for me to leave a bad review. Secondly, I worked in the restaurant industry for well over 10 years, including management, and every job I’ve had to this day involves customer service. Now. I’ve been to this location many times, and have never had a bad experience. It takes 1 negative experience to leave a lasting impression. I received the wrong order and when I attempted to tell the employee she walked away from me in the middle of me telling her what I ordered. The entire time I was there, I kept to myself, and was polite to anyone who interacted with me, including with this situation. Walking away from someone when they’re trying to tell you an issue, is extremely disrespectful. How are you going to fix something if you don’t know how it’s wrong? If she had explained to me what she was doing, I would have been more understanding, but she didn’t say anything to me when she walked away, just turned and walked off as I was mid sentence. You don’t have time to listen and correct this order… At that time, I got up and went to the counter to request to cancel my order and a refund. Then another worker walked by with my order and I followed her to my table, and asked for a to go box, and tried to politely and quietly let her know about what had just taken place and her response was along the lines of “well I’m sure you can see we’re pretty busy”, to which I responded, “your being busy shouldn’t affect the treatment that I receive here. That has nothing to do with me and how she treated me”. And she repeatedly tried to reiterate that excuse and it’s completely...
Read moreWe have been wanting to go here just because the building looks so awesome. Once we got out of our car, it smelled amazing. Walking in, you go over to the counter to order. The mural on the wall inside is incredible. Such a great piece of art. The girl working the counter was sooooooo slooooowww, and not like normal slow. Like if the food didn't look so amazing we would have left. We repeated every single thing at least twice. Thankfully, at the end, another worker came over to try and help. Now the food: We didn't know we got chips and salsa, which was a nice surprise. The salsa was super hot but the roasted flavor really gave the salsa some depth. I got the Ruvalcaba Enchiladas. They were so good, the al pastor was flavorful with a few crispy pieces, and the Enchiladas were stuffed full and covered with best tasting cheese sauce. I got double rice no beans, but the rice tasted like it was about past its prime. My husband got the Torta with Asada and just loved it. I tried a bite of the asada and it was tasty. It came with fries, which was weird. We didn't eat any. Overall, we would come back. Definitely need...

The service is also friendly and attentive, especially from our server Shorty. He was always smiling and checking on us, and he gave us some great recommendations including our dessert of choice, churros and ice cream, which was a sweet way to end our visit. We felt welcomed and appreciated, and we can't wait to come back again.
