This place is really good. We've gone several times. The breakfast burritos are what everyone raved about. They are huge, you can share. Loaded with meat, egg, potato, cheese, and some onions and peppers if you like. Made fresh when ordered. So fresh with good tortillas. Baby had the baked potato loaded with barbecue meat, and he really craves it now. I have also had the beef tips with gravy and rice. It was pretty good, and I would order it again. Try it! Maybe to go though LOL The reason I give this place a four is the atmosphere. It's dark, dated, and dirty. It looks like they haven't dusted in a million years. But it was worth it. I wish they would stay open until 5:30pm or 6pm so I could order dinner sometimes, but they close at 4pm. They have a ton of options on the menu! I got pics of that, but not the food. I will go back, and next time I promise to get pictures. Tell them Ashley sent you...I'll see you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got 3 plates of the 1 choice of meat with 2 sides. The meat was sliced brisket, the sides i got were potato salad and coleslaw. It came with 1 drink of choice and sauce and silced bread. Brisket was almost a 1/2 inch thick which is epic. Tender but a hint overdone so it had a bit of a difficult chew to it. Flavor was overall good, needed a bit more smoke to get that layer of burnt end and a little more salt and it would have been amazing! Coleslaw wasn't the best, leaning more toward sweet as opposed to savory it wasn't noteworthy. Potato salad is also leaning sweet as opposed to zesty or bold potato salad, a bit too wet and too mashed up. Again, nothing incredibly noteworthy. Ide say overall a 7 out of 10 compared to many other BBQ joints....

Super friendly and welcoming service. The young lady, Rosa, at the counter was all smiles and made me feel like an old friend.
The fried okra is off the hook. But the brisket was wow. Not exactly sure what wood is used to smoke it but it has a very delicate sweetness. And best of all, it was affordable. Forget fast food.
Overall a very nice reprieve from the interstate and we'll...
