Best breakfast burritos in the Permian Basin! I always get the Mexicana burrito with beans & cheese. It's the best! And I love their hot sauce, caliente!The owner and his family are lovely people. It is always such a pleasure doing business there. The food is great and the service is top notch. It's a small place but it's always very clean and the atmosphere is very inviting. Payen's is one of Odessa's best kept secrets. Burrito shacks are a dime a dozen on the west side but none of them can touch Payen's. I called to ask if they sold chicken tamales because it was difficult to find chicken only being that I am from out of town and everyone seems to only make pork which I can't eat, pregnant and feeling sick not wanting to cook because of my nausea. They did not, I was fine OK. Then I got a call back right away from this place and this woman said they did have them but they were frozen, she could have a couple dozen for me in an hour.
