July 2025: Double cheeseburger tasted great tonight. Could not find anything wrong with it.
March 2024: crispy chicken sandwich combo meal. Foot-long chili cheese, Coney. Cherry limeade large. Tater tots with ketchup requested. Everything came out fresh. they did not forget a thing. I am giving them back a star. The only star removed was for the broken monitors, which seems to be there all throughout the season. Thatās why atmosphere is 4/5.
July 2023: A large fry and large cherry limeade. Perfect. The drink actually had a cherry and lime piece in it. The fries were fresh and hot. This was around 8 pm. With the Taco Bell opened next door they must be picking up their game here and getting orders right.
May 2023: One good trip. One bad trip. The bad trip involved an order through the phone app. Kitchen finished under five minutes but the bag just sat there for like fifteen minutes. How do I know? Soggy buns, soggy lettuce, fluids stuck too much of the wrapper, and the fries were barely warm. Won't be coming back for a while. What's the point of tipping 14% for slow service. Next time I'll just do it all cash at the stall.
April 2023: So far all the orders this month via mobile app has been excellent.
March 2023: Footlong coney with extra chili and cheese ordered ahead via app was actually good. Giving them back a star. Still sad it takes $1.50 extra to get it to the point where there's substantial chili and cheese on the thing, but I guess with the economy going downhill everything costs more.
Jan 2023: A number 12 dinner. All went well. Hoping it stays good like this for future visits. Really want an awesome Sonic in town. Slowly getting there.
Another December update: Another good visit, and a bad one. Ordered fries and jalapeƱo bites. There was no ranch dip. I blame the app because I could see ranch on the app but not on the receipt. Both food items piping hot. Kiddo ate the fries like chewing was a foreign concept.
Next day I came back for a BLT and only one piece of bread was toastedā¦both sides, the other was just cold. Seems that three out of five times I go here are good so 3/5 stars seems fair.
December update, the chicken sandwiches are excellent. The sliders are hot. Giving them back five star.

One large fry. Got a small fry in a large container. Back to lunch I guess, dinner is no good. Theyāre understaffed.
March update: State elections today. Early voting so many people came here. As expected the food is excellent due to churn. Chili dogs were delicious. Fries hot and fresh. Putting it to five star.
Previous visits had stale fries, or old hot dogs. So many times of disappointment. I really want to support a local Sonic, but itās so...

Now Iām not just an outsider who has no clue whatās going on in a sonic kitchen, as I used to be employed at a sonic that clearly held higher standards. Every single time I ordered a burrito from here the eggs were overcooked, covered in black gristle from the obviously very dirty and never scraped griddle, and extremely salty with a lack of cheese. Now since I have worked at a sonic I know that the potential these people have to make good food is very possible and achievable, but they just choose to slack at their job and presumably just try to āget through their shiftā. Which is a horrible attitude to have as a worker and seeing the neighborhood behind the sonic Iām guessing itās mostly entitled kids who are just trying to afford some v bucks or something. Now the carhops have always been respectful and kind and usually donāt forget anything, itās just these cooks that so severely lack the mental fortitude to take pride in their job no matter what it is. At 9$ an hour I brought business to our sonic because of how good I did my job, I took attention to detail and made quality never burnt, never over or undercooked, and never something I wouldnāt make for myself food. The owner of this place needs to stop neglecting his business and start getting some employees that have a work ethic, oh, and all this terrible food yet the parking lot is empty every time I come here. So even when weāre the only ones here, it still comes out terrible, and not to save time. If it were to save time I guess Iād be like okay whatever, but it takes a good 25 minutes to get my one burrito⦠when I worked we had extreme rushes and nothing was ever out over 4 minutes (which I believe is sonic standard). Anyway, just wanted anyone who cared to see that this is probably not the place to order from. And to the owner, I donāt want a generic response to this review like āif you have any problems please contact blah blah blahā. Just take accountability and run your store like it...

I looked in advance and see they offered mobile pay at the location, I headed up as I had sent my husband off with my debit card elsewhere. I ordered to food and as I was trying to select the mobile pay options on their order boards it wouldnāt do anything. They offer the mobile pay but the button on their machine wasnāt working. I pressed the red button to inform them and I was met with the same woman who took my order who had already been pretty rude. When I told her she said they didnāt have anything to do with the mobile app and I said I knew that and tried to explain again. She kept taking over me and cutting me off so I finally said itās not the app that isnāt working, Iām talking about your screen...still she said if we had no other way to pay sheād cancel the order. At the end she added a sorry but that is one of the worst customer service experiences Iāve ever encountered. I work in customer service...cutting people off and talking over them is just unacceptable. Sounds like this sonic either needs to invest in training or replace some employees. Wouldāve been so fine if she had even been nice and let me speak but nope. Iāll be making the drove to Wylie from now, at least they...
