Southern Brew — Restaurant in Texas

I came in this morning. There was only one person in front of me. I watched the 2 employees work diligently to make coffee. I waited and waited. They wouldn’t even look at us or say anything. Finally after 5 minutes I asked the customer in front of me if she had been acknowledged at all and she said no. It was such an uncomfortable and unwelcoming feeling. The girl at the register appeared unhappy. Finally a couple more minutes pass and one of the girls comes to the register. No hi how are you, no I’m sorry for the wait. There was just absolutely no customer service skills in this place. It appeared that they might have been new or short staffed which is fine but customer service is important. Acknowledge your customers, greet them, let them know you will be with them in a minute. Don’t make them feel as if they don’t belong in there. Coffee was good and cute aesthetics but customer service is everything and they fell...

The best part, for me as a returning Texan, is the sense of place this place has created. From the moment I stepped in, it said, “Welcome to small town Texas.” What a delight. The staff welcomes you with their whole heart, chatting as if you their favorite cousin, stopped by for an hour. Leave yourself some time to peruse the menu—there are LOTS of options. Came in this morning and ordered 3 breakfast sandwiches and a coffee. All 3 sandwiches were soo cold me and my kids could not even enjoy them. The coffee I ordered was not made right and I ended up dumping it down the drain. What a complete waste of money.
