Texas Burger — Restaurant in Texas

Figured I'd try this place, maybe made a mistake going later at night, around 10:30 or 11. There were about 8 teenagers working the place that had no idea how to perform their job, and were swearing and being trashy to boot. The person in front of me was waiting for a very long time because they didn't include any of the hamburgers he ordered, just gave him fries. As I sat watching, my order was clearly going to be messed up too.

All the teenagers stood around while we waited for our burgers to be cooked. Eventually an older manager or whatever their position came out of a room in the back and realized the errors. They started cooking the burgers right away and we got our food. It wasn't very good. The burger was flavorless and a bit rubbery and the lettuce was dark and wilted. Like I said, maybe better earlier in the day. I ended up throwing half the burger and most of the fries in the garbage and left.

It was a very disappointing experience. You could at least tell some of the employees felt bad about the dismal experience. The restaurant, however, was clean enough, albeit...

I normally love to eat at Texas Burger however yesterday did not set to well with me, there were 4 in my party we ordered then ate but had food left over, plenty fries and chicken strips I ask for a to go container they hand me a small box, Well it was plain to see it was not big enough! I ask for a larger to go container only to see and hear the scolding the young girl get from I don't know if he was a manager or a grill cook I only know it was absolutely uncalled for, along with a unfriendly roll of the eyes, the girl handed me the container with a bit of hurt feelings and uneasy look when I said Thank You ! This attitude really gets under my skin, had I ordered this chicken strip meal to go it would had came in a large container for this girl and I to receive this kind of treatment is not acceptable! Normally my visits at Texas Burger is enjoyable but not this time ! I understand the food business I was part of it for 20 years, I can spot a bully when I see One, I understand team work, I understand...

The burgers here kinda reminds of the burgers I got at My-T-Burger or Mr. Burger but with ice cream, dine-in, and no Lime Ices. Not sure how many Texans will get that reference :D The food is good. The "spicy" fries are not spicy, just seasoned. The crinkle cut are good but are better with some Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Their chili isn't too bad either.
