We visited on 3/5/23. The atmosphere and ambiance were really good. We were late after our wine tour started late but they were accommodating. We wanted to sit at the back with a view of the vineyard/ barren grape vines but there was a private event. We were asked to order entrees within 15 minutes. We ordered with in 5 as we were hungry. Our server said the chef will close the kitchen to cater for the private party. We are all our bread with oil (it was good) the food took 40 minutes to come out! (1 star) Husband and myself ordered steak and stuffed chicken. They were both average, Nothing extraordinary. For dessert we had the highly recommended goat cheese cake by our vine tour guy. He claimed it’s the best desert he ever had and we had to have it even if you don’t like cheese cake or goat cheese. I asked specifically if you can taste the goat cheese as I’m not a fan he was adamant that you can’t and that he despises goat cheese and it’s the best dessert ever! BIG MISTAKE! It’s the worst dessert I’ve ever had! It was disgusting! The apple pie kinda topping didn’t work and didn’t taste good even by itself. The crumbs on top and sides were soggy. The cheese cake it self couldn’t decide on temperature cold, room temperature?! And I could distinctly taste goat cheese. It was so bad that I had to change the flavor with some of my left over mashed potatoes. Thank goodness I had some left. Than I ordered coffee and it came completely cold! I’m not exaggerating it wasn’t even warm. I’m so disappointed at the amount that I paid for the quality of food that I got. I will definitely be touring the vinery again but will not be eating here.

We went for dinner on 5/9/2025. The inside of the building was gorgeous and the service was amazing. Docked points off of the atmosphere for the strange music choice. It sounded like early 2000/2010 pop music which didn’t fit the vibe. The focaccia tasted a bit undercooked and the chicken was described as stuffed with spinach, Gorgonzola, and cream sauce. When it arrived, the chicken was not stuffed but covered with sauce. It’s a small thing and I understand that they simplified their menu for graduation weekend but I wish it matched what the menu promised.

We were staying at an RV park nearby last weekend. Did curbside pickup for our anniversary dinner. Hubby had the ribeye and I had the flatiron steak. Both were delicious although my flatiron was a little too rare for “medium”. Couldn’t eat part of it. The mashed potatoes were very tasty and the vegetables were crisp and flavorful. We got the white chocolate créme brûlée for dessert—it was great! I wish times were different where we could have eaten there and visited the winery, but thank goodness for curbside! Ready on time and friendly, masked service.

I made a reservation for Friday at 6:30 because I knew it would probably be busy. My husband and I were finally getting around to celebrating our anniversary and when I made the reservation, I told them we were celebrating. We show up about 10 minutes early. My husband dropped me off at the door because of the rain and went to park the car. No one addressed me waiting until he walked in. No big deal. We were seated and handed menus and our waiter said he would be right back. In the mean time, we realized our table was horribly wobbly - like uncomfortably so. When our waiter finally came back after 5 minutes, his suggestion was to use our butter knife to steady the table. Seriously? That was the only help/suggestion he offered. By that time, he put our water out and the table was so wobbly that our glasses of water almost spilled when my husband got up. He said forget it and just used the butter knife to steady the table. A new knife was never given to him. We placed an appetizer order and requested the recommended wine pairing. The antipasto platter with the Rose was delicious and perfectly paired. We never got any bread while tables around us received two baskets (I’m a carb fiend so this was important to me! Lol) We placed salad orders and dinner requests, again with the recommended wine pairing. Salads were delicious and we had plenty of time to eat our courses before the next one came. By the time our dinner arrived, we had to ask another member of the waitstaff to check on our wine selections as our meals were almost done and they had not arrived. Our waiter brought them out. I had the lamb which was perfectly cooked and delicious, my husband had the duck and left nothing on his plate. After dinner, we ordered dessert. I wanted the bananas foster and my husband ordered the cherries jubilee. Our waiter came back about 5 minutes later to tell us these desserts were ordered for two, so we could pick one or have both but it would be a lot. We ordered the bananas foster. The dessert was the only thing that didn’t impress me. It was simply some warmed through bananas in an ice cream bowl with a scoop of vanilla and caramel sauce. It was more of a soup by the time we got it, which makes me think it sat for a second before being served. Overall the food was great but our service left something to be desired. For the prices they are charging, I would want the staff to be knowledgeable about the wine pairings and also be attentive. I felt sort of ignored and also a bit bothered regarding the table issue and the waiters solution. I’m not sure I will return mainly because of our service. I love their wine so I’ll probably just stick to supporting them that way and stay out of...

Going for dinner for wife’s birthday . The one who greeted us was our server. Once she sat us, it was 15 minutes before she came back to the table. Ordered 2 salads and she said the bread would be out . Turned into another 10 min . Ordered entrees and ended up waiting for them. Ordered decaf coffe and split dessert . Came back to tell us they were out of decaf. We said expresso would be ok . Here comes 1 expresso , she said she would make another and be out Asked for sweet and low. Asked for check , which was brought And card and check sat on the table for 15 minutes while she tried to make a flambeau at a near by table. Saw a manager from upstairs who was there and took to process the bill. There was a big wedding reception upstairs and no doubt most staff was assigned the party . Our server was overwhelmed and no one was there to assist her.Big disappointment for such a well thought of dining experience . We spent 2 nights at the Villa and were satisfied with all at the Villa , including a good...
