The Clubhouse at The Dalles Country Club — Restaurant in The Dalles

I need to mention that the restaurant is named "The Grilled Steak and Seafood" First of all you have to understand this is a restaurant at a Golf Course and we are not talking Pebble Beach. That being said if I am in this town this is my go to restaurant for lunch or dinner. Its not on main street but I will take the short side trip. I have been here several times and have not left disappointed. If you want an real hand made hamburger this is the place to go, they use fresh ground Brisket and Steak Trimmings and the bacon has the best flavor. They cook it to order and it comes out hot and juicy just as I asked for. Don't under estimate going to dinner there, they have specials all the time. We go there for their Rib Eye Steaks and Crab Stuffed Salmon, worth every penny, these guys know what they are doing. Went here for dinner with a work buddy. I had a ribeye cooked at a perfect medium rare. My buddy had the fish and chips. Fish was cooked perfect and wasn't overcooked and dry like most places. The mashed potatoes was smooth and creamy. Vegetables were cooked awesome and very bright and crunchy. First time here and made a great impressiin on us.
