Review to follow. Before any type of membership; make sure you are ok with no follow through, horrid customer service, conflicting information from membership related to any inquiry no matter how simple. Their primary concern and apparently only purpose is being able to collect dues: and to hell with everything else. This might be the team motto. I attempted to use membership, after “joining” and paying fee; and was told I would not have access to anything until I received my member card and after two follow up phone Calls I was told rudely to go to world of tennis desk and they would have my membership packet. Upon arriving, the girl at the desk was clueless to who I was or what a member packet was, and after calling her superior; I was given a cardboard torn slip of paper she scrawled with a handwritten number and that apparently is how you use all facilities. No explanation of how other than “download The app.” I then attempted to access the app with my member number and didn’t have “correct privileges” to use app and after three more calls was told that I could book over the phone. I reserved pool time as everything requires Reservation for Covid which I understand and appreciate. I arrived for my time slot and no one was at the check in counter and I found a kind lady in pro shop that looked and said she didn’t have my name for slot but that I could schedule a future time. I left and and never went back and received no card, gate info, or anything except billing statements. I called and shared my experience and was told by a short tempered woman that I would need to email that I wanted to cancel. I thought this was the end, but low and behold it was just the beginning. I received a call from Dennis, the General Manager, who initially was kind and stated he would research why I had not received anything and he would get back with me. His research totality apparently was looking at the billing statements and concluding that I signed a promissory note for one year. Never a sorry or attempt at resolution. I have no issue with promissory agreement and it is true; however I would expect some sort of member correspondence or at least an attempt to remedy a bad experience. I have been in the hospitality business for 18 plus years and customer service and value of services are tenants of our business. I seldom write reviews unless they are positive because I know what a detriment a negative review can be and the bias of one side. However, after my visit with Dennis today I want to advise to be cautious in joining and make sure you have record of any interactions with the WOT team because you will very well need it one day. My parents also belong to a ClubCorp club and I am beyond disappointed at how WOT compares to their home club. Additionally, I find it amazing that calls related to billing are returned promptly but anything related to your experience, or inquiries about club, and how to use membership are lost in what I would assume would be a trash can 🗑 labeled feedback and...
Read moreThank you so much Ann & Micki!! Our March 2015 wedding was amazing - Ann and all of her staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was the way I envisioned our big day to be. My husband was sick for a majority of our engagement, so other than choosing the vendors, I did not really start planning until about three months before the big day. Ann was extremely accommodating, and made sure I didn't feel stressed in what sometimes felt like an overwhelming amount of things to do in a short period of time - had we not gone with the Hills, I think that the wedding planning process would have been MUCH harder! The venue was beautiful, the vendors that came with our package were all amazing, and the food was great (I heard a TON of complements from the guests on the food). I am extremely happy with the value - we got so much for one low price, and I think there is truly no easier way to make sure your wedding goes smoothly. Speaking of smooth, Ann helped to solve a couple family drama issues quickly and quietly without me feeling like I had to mediate - with a big family, this was something I was really grateful for. Overall, we were very happy with the service and all of the elements that came into play through the Hills for making our wedding...
Read moreI hosted my wedding with The Hills, July 19, 2020. We were booked originally for April 19, but due to Covid we had to push the date. I will start by saying, this group is quite amazing, and dedicated to keeping you happy. I had a rough start last year due to a high turnover of event coordinators. Reagan was hired in December and totally changed my opinion of this place, complete 180. Reagan and her team are incredible. End of story. I had no negative interactions with anyone, I felt like I was truly important with my now 20 person wedding. There was nothing to be desired at our wedding. Drinks were great, food was absolutely amazing, staff were like old friends welcoming us in their home, everyone was so supportive and I felt truly happy. Even with the stress of everything else and the nerves of just being a bride, the venue was not something I had any question of. They are great, I truly believe this venue will get wise of how great they are and increase their pricing. Hop on it while you can, you won’t regret working with this...
