Little Italy Pizza — Restaurant in The Plains

Little Italy is by far the worst pizza I've had in Athens County. I want to like this place because it's local. However, their pizza has a few major problems: the cheese is a rubbery, single mass that you have to hold onto or it will fall of the pizza. Their dough is both lacking seasoning (needs more salt), and has been undercooked every time I've eaten there. When you get pizza at a pizza place, the crust shouldn't look pale like frozen pizza. Not only that, but the inner becomes pretty mushy. Not a desirable quality, IMO. Sauce was also super bland.

Service has ranged from friendly, to uncaring. Can't really fault them much.

What can they do to improve? Get your pizza ovens to a higher temp. It's clear that they're baking these pies at a lower temp overall, so the crust doesn't get fully cooked, and then cheese bubbles and browns before the crust is fully cooked, so it gets overcooked and turns rubbery. Learn to season your dough and sauce properly instead.

Someone said this place been in business along time. Well they should be out of business. Everyone leaving 4 or 5 star if you look at the reviews of this people they rate everything 4 or 5. Ordered from them said it be 1 hour. Well 2 1/2 hours later no food. So I want to pick it up Well guess what they said it's out to be delivered. Then when I get home NO food. They must have called the delivery guy to call us. Because Darrel Bartlet called my wife's phone said no one come to the door.. But OOPS!!!! I was just pulling back in my driveway when he called.No food or delivery guy. When called for refund. The girl on they phone said Well who said it would be an hour for delivery. What a sorry place. People who rate them 4 or 5 just give everyplace 4 or 5. You have to be crazier them them to believe that. LITTLE ITALY Please do everyone a favor. Just out of business. I've been ordering little Italys for years now and all of a sudden I've gotten 3 burnt pizzas In a row and 2 subs messed up. Called for delivery and 4 different times it has taken 1.5 hours to get my food and when I call to check they say the driver just left or it just got out the oven and then I call again 30 minutes later . Same thing. I live 5 houses down the road. Takes less than a minute to get their. Several times picking up food they make me wait 10 minutes at the drive thru. Then the people are disrespectful. The one lady walked up looked me and just stared at me and said nothing than after a minute she says " what" then i said im picking up my pizza and its been 45 minutes since i ordered and apparently they needed more time because they gave away my pizza.
