Mystic Ice Cream — Restaurant in The Villages

Just visited the new Oxford location and we will not be back. Pull up and the lady is smoking a cigarette, goes inside and rinses off quickly- wreakes of smoke. Then we see the prices, which take us back. $8 for the smallest size is outrageous. I ordered a kids size for my kid and another to go since my other kid was at home, she said she couldn't serve me a kids scoop because my other kid wasn't with me. I have been eating ice cream for 30 years and I, myself l, always order a kid's scoop- I've never been told that anywhere else. I'm paying a certain price for a certain amount of ice cream, I don't understand the issue. This deterred me from ordering another ice cream for myself. So you guys not only lost money on that sale but with that attitude, you lost a repeat customer. The ice cream selection is fun, and it taste good, but I will keep my business...

This review is for your new location located near Gios. It was a disgusting experience. The women you had working tonight should not work worth food. We pull up and she was outside in front smoking. Went it rinsed off....no soap. Then when I asked for a single scoop she told me she wasn't allowed to serve me one scoop. Im a diabetic. I hate having to pay for something im not going to eat when I know I won't eat all three she gave me. Then as im paying 20 bucks for a kids serving for my 7 yr old amd two adult ice creams...she scratches off a scab on her arm then puts it back on her skin....vomit. needles to say I could NOT eat my ice cream after that. Love love love this place. It was my first time going and the gentleman explained all of the flavors and offered me samples. He was very sweet. The owner was leaving and was so sweet to the employee it made me smile. The owner even stopped to say hello and hoped I enjoyed the place. The wife makes all of the ice cream from scratch! They also tie dye their own t-shirts (I got one). The atmosphere is so relaxing and laid back. I normally take things and leave but I think I may eat my ice cream there next time! They offer several cup sizes, waffle cone, and shake options. I can't wait to...
