I will give them two stars because the food is mediocre. My wife and I called tonight to place an order. We explained we would be paying cash and card. It's really not hard to understand or do. The woman who took the order completely rushed the entire time, she put us on hold twice for over a three minute period each time. We ordered a sesame chicken combo with a pint of vegetable lo mein. Very, very easy, simple order. I understand restaurants can get busy and multi tasking is the key to having a steady flow working at a restaurant. But, please, if you are going to try and multi task while taking an order over the phone-- please don't be rude while talking to the customers over the phone and placing them on hold. After she was done taking the order and wanted the card number, we attempted to state the amount to run on the card because we would be paying the rest in cash. The lady, I guess, just didn't pay attention because she was rushing so much, obviously heard the word cash and assumed we would be paying cash for it all. She hung up the phone, not saying how long or even giving a hint that we were done with the phone call. We called back and again, put on hold for seven minutes!! Just to pay some on the card. Of course, that was a hassle. She was trying to get the whole order again, but we kept trying to tell her that we just called to place it but we were hung up on. She's still rushing, cutting us off. Finally, we just tell her the order all over because she seemed pretty insisting on taking the order over. After that, the lady rudely says, " you guys just called to order this, I already got it, it will be 20 minute. Why you call again to order." ... Oh my gosh! I never knew it could be THIS hard to order Chinese food !!! At this point, my wife is getting pretty pissed. She told the lady to calm down for just a minute, stop rushing, stop cutting people off and she would have known we already place the order, but she wouldn't let us get a word in. All we wanted to do was pay the amount on our card. My.God. my wife and I have both worked in the restaurant industry and if you can not handle a busy night and multi task with out being so rude and messing up orders, then you should probably do something else at the restaurant that does not involve taking orders and waiting on customers. I ordered there honey chicken and the sauce on the side when I got the order the sauce was bright red and completely sour nothing like honey. I called then to tell them this as well as the fact that the chicken was so hard and over cooked like it was sitting a very long time. The manager "carl" tried to give me some story about how honey chicken sauce is red in the chinese business and that all this other crazy stuff. I told him I have eaten honey chicken in many places and this sauce was not honey it was super sour. I wanted them to exchange the food and he said he would. I waited over an hour and nothing. i called back and spoke to "carl" again and he said they should be here in 5 minutes. I again waited another 15 mins and called to say I wanted a refund because this was ridiculous. He had the nerve to call me rude because i was pist off because i now had waited over 2 hours for food I paid for and had not even eaten. During my 30-minute lunch break, I ordered General Tsoās chicken with pork fried rice only onions (without peas or carrots due to allergies). When I returned home and opened the food, I found metal fragments from a brillo pad in the chicken, as well as peas and carrots in the rice, despite specifying no peas or carrots. I returned to the restaurant to address the issue, but the front counter staff was unprofessional and dismissive. I explained the situation and requested my order to be remade and a refund, citing the inconvenience and the fact that I used my entire lunch break. The staff member responded dismissively, saying I could only have one or the other. I clarified that my receipt showed the correct order and that I did not request any metal in my food. Overall, this experience was very disappointing, especially given my background in hospitality management which i have 2 degrees in as well as Culinary degree.
