Kingdom Grounds Coffee Shoppe — Restaurant in Thomasville

I recently visited Southern Grounds restaurant and coffee shop in Thomasville, Alabama. I had known about it for some time as my wife and son had been encouraging me to go. I was initially hesitant because I use an oversized electric wheelchair and thought the space might be too small for it. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could easily maneuver my wheelchair inside. The front area is a bit limited in space, but there are several rooms where you can enjoy fellowship, coffee, and meals.

During my visit, I tried their delicious Panini called the "gobbler," which was absolutely amazing. I have been back three times in the past week just for that! I also treated myself to one of their specialty coffees called "Romeo," which was a delightful blend of white chocolate and other flavors.

The building itself exudes a unique, old-fashioned charm, and they embrace their Christian background by displaying various Christian messages on the walls. We recently threw my friends a 35 Year Anniversary party here, and it was perfect! The owner Bailey went above and beyond to make the occasion so special! Not only did she allow us to use her beautiful space, but prepared all the delicious food we needed with extra to spare. She also made two beautiful and delicious sheet cakes! I absolutely LOVE this place!!! It has picnic tables both small for young children and large for adults, a tree swing, a creek, an upstairs play room while you're wait!
