Famous Franks — Restaurant in Thompson

Decided to drive from Mass after seeing all the great reviews and can sadly say we left disappointed. The chili tasted canned and old, the lemonade was very very watered down and had almost no flavor at all, I got the bacon and cheese dog which was a bit odd to me as the cheese was just shredded cold cheese thrown on top, the bacon was just one whole slice, usually when I've gotten cheese bacon dogs the cheese is usually a nacho cheese, velveeta or something similar with chopped up bacon mixed so this was odd. My partner did not enjoy his food as he said it was bland. We waited to ask for ketchup as there was only one girl working for the entire place but she never came back to ask if we needed...

Fries were trash sopping with oil and weren't cooked through or salted (floppy grease fries) The name is misleading worst hotdogs I've ever had. Service was amazing. Stuffed mushrooms tasted amazing but very small and not stuffed. ( Fry them so they stay together) and my wife enjoyed her burger when with a soaked bun (supposed to be toasted). I went for hotdogs well cause the name is so misleading. They get buisness only cause their is nothing else. As a hot dog lover you expect a beef hotdog.. or at least steamed not what I got. It tasted like a Barr hotdog the cheapest they come All in all grab a burger and if your willing to get messy get the not...

This was a really nice experience. I was greeted in a very friendly manner by Marissa when I first walked in. When I was seated I was given fresh popcorn, always a plus. I had French onion soup and it had a nice flavor. I then had some smoke fries and the portion was large and very tasty. I followed that with a burger that was very nicely prepared and has excellent flavor. I really loved the fresh cut fries. A very nice exposition made even better by the great, friendly, efficient service...
