Mill Town Grill — Restaurant in Thompson

Was very excited to give this place a try but disappointed with our order. For an appetizer we got the pulled pork Doritos. I assumed this was going to be like pulled pork nachos but with Doritos instead of tortilla chips. Basically it was a pile of Doritos with pulled pork on top and shredded cheese that wasn’t even melted. The whole not melted cheese thing was a trend with the rest of our meal. I ordered a chili cheese dog and got a hot dog with chili and cold shredded cheese. My husband ordered a bacon cheese dog which was essentially a hot dog with a whole slice of bacon on top covered again with cold shredded cheese. We both fully expected the cheese to either be liquid cheese or at least melted. The cheese just fell off the hot dog with every bite. Great Place! Place looks great, staff is always amazing and if your lucky the owner will come out and make ya laugh. Still can't beat their hot dogs, coney sauce is the best around and I love they toast their buns. Had the fisherman platter the other night and especially the clams and scallops were breaded and fried just perfect. Son says the Rodeo Dog is the best ever! There not much you can go wrong with here. The owner is quite creative and has daily specials. They have a great bar and lots of seating. Sundays they do breakfast. Showed up at 11:35 for breakfast everyone I guess they weren't serving breakfast anymore no big deal I asked politely about the breakfast I kinda got a smart kinda NO. I then proceed to wait ten minutes to put in my lunch order. The girl basically just ignored me I felt like I was invisible so I just left. I usually go there for lunch once of twice a week, Not anymore I will take my business elsewhere. First time i ever walked out restaurant for service. Unless your a local around here you will get overlooked. I am pretty sure the owner of the place really doesn't care about this...
