There were a few tables of patrons on their way to the Penn State game, some people just stopping by out of routine (so it would seem) and then us, passersby on our way home from Penn State to NJ. My husband loves a local place that has a screen door that hits you as you walk in, so this was his choice. He had scrapple and eggs while I had a cheese omelet. He enjoyed his meal and there was more scrapple than he could eat. The omelet selection was very limited. I always get a spinach and feta omelet but that is not on the menu, sadly. Well, apparently they forgot the honey part, the mashed potatoes were like eating paste & the gravy tasted like it was out of a jar. How could you mess up beans, well they managed to, they tasted like pancake syrup! I had creamed chip beef over hash browns which was always awesome, well, not this time. Sure, the cream sauce had a good taste but there were only a few specks of dried beef in it. Also, I ordered a side of scrapple which they forgot to put in the bag.
