Ahhh, nestled into the hills, farmlands, and exo suburbia of Delaware County is a sweet oasis of goodness. Fitting well into this rural landscape is Bierhaul Farmhouse, and you'd pass right by it, if not for the number of vehicles in the parking lot, that denotes BF as the place to be. What is it? Its merriment with ode to German beer halls of old. There's a plethora (meaning many to you commoners) of beer on tap, in cans and bottles. All the all stars of all things hopped, a veritable red carpet of who's who in beer. Yup, the roster is that deep, talented, and satisfying. There are also, as they say, Potent Potables, if beer is not your thing. Your thirst shall be quenched, like it or not, but I think the former will win out. To tame all of this liquid madness, is clever gastronomic wizardry. Decadent twists on all things familiar, but prepared fresh, deftly spiced, and feels close to farm to table. Gluttony can be your friend, but there are healthy options available, so choose wisely. Special shout out to the wings; crispy outside, tender inside, spiced with a deference to big flavor. Pizza is thin crust, with a snap in the bite, and audacious freshness. For an app, don't sneer at the Deep Fried Pickles, salty, sweet, sliced perfection. The atmosphere feels festive, it can be a bit loud, a bit ruckus, but feels like inspired happiness, because it is. Decor is rustic farmhouse, wood adorned, soft lighting, with a nice u-shaped bar in the middle to cozy up to should you choose that option. It's comfortable, and familiar. There's also outside dining available, whether picnic style setup, or high top tables to lounge. On a sunny day, dining alfresco is a perfect way to pass the time. Come eat, drink, and be merry. Luckily, there's no other viable option here. Yes, it's good, very.

I’m not including things that are solely due to there (very) recent opening in the decision to give them three stars. That being said, they can definitely make some improvements. They have a pretty small beer list for a place with beer in their name. I had their house lager and it was ok. Their food menu was small as well but that’s less of an issue if they were going for more tavern, less restaurant. The food was just ok. The burger was bland and lacking any specialness. The fries were undercooked and floppy. The soft pretzel was very good, but the cheese they served it with was curdled. It’s also very loud. It has a big open ceiling but for some reason that didn’t help. The music was very loud as well, trying to combat for most annoying over the people yelling at each other. The waitresses seem very new but also very nice. There are a ton of windows and a nice outdoor area which are a plus. Stage building itself is really cool. I’ll try it again in a month or two when they have time to get their act together.

Vegetarian perspective Food: great vegetarian and vegan options! They even had tofu scramble on the brunch menu! What a treat. Inconsistent portion sizes....most in my group had big portions, except the person who ordered chicken and waffles. it was comical small, seemed like a kids menu size! Half a waffle and three chicken tenders....the peach caprese was also a few slices of thin mozzarella and mostly tomato, a few pieces of peach. Drinks: amazing drink menu with hard to source beers, and amazing cocktails. Wine was available too. Atmosphere: Really cool place and tons of outside seating. We had a group of 6 and for some reason were seated in a back room, and were the only group there. I saw other groups our size in the main area, with open tables, so I'm not sure why we were seated there.

Venue is great however the food service is very very slow. It took almost an hour and a half to get the food and eat. All we ordered was bratwurst and their special perogies. Sat outside and the patio was full of flies, everyone was swatting if you looked around. We noticed the dumpster was wide open next to the patio, could be the source. Food was good just took so long we contemplated closing the bill. If they solve the food delay and flies it's a great place to hang out. I have lowered my score based on the review response. If you read the review 1.5 was our total time there...we left after 730. Ask yourself if you would attend a place that replies to customers in this manner. Perhaps mother nature is a better person for a response. Learn from feedback. Bierhaul response below. Unprofessional.

Ricardo, this review is incorrect. I was here last night, solid busy Tuesday & food was taking 25/30 mins. Saying an hour and a half is an absolute farce & you should take this review down. I employ 60 people here & you're affecting every single one of them to make yourself feel big. As far as flies & the dumpster goes its a parking lot away from our serving areas. You were eating outdoors, within a garden. Go review mother nature & give...

This is a GREAT spot hidden in the back roads, not too far off of Route 1. The beer selection is top-notch and really has something for everyone. Many places tout themselves as a place with a great selection, but they really just have a ton of trendy hazys, some IPAs , and one or two other styles that are mediocre at best. BierHaul has a great selection of local beers as well as other well-known breweries across the country. Our service and the atmosphere are great. It's the perfect amount of attentiveness, but also enjoy what we have to offer with your family or friends. They can accommodate families, and there is some outdoor space to let the kids get some energy out away from the tables. My only ding is the food, great options for food, but honestly, the food I tried lacked flavor. 2 of us at the table ordered the mussels, and neither broth had much to it. I personally had the Fra Diavolo, and it lacked any spice and far from spicy. On a positive note, the mussels were huge and open. We also shared brussel sprouts, which were good, but a little small for 4 people. They were well cooked and glazed. I think if you work on the food, then the whole experience will exceed...
