This tea room was very nice and appropriate for a proper English-style Tea. Itâs in a very old house (Colonial, I believe) and furnished with an antique flair so it was fun to eat there. My only complaint is that we all three thought it was unreasonably expensive for what it was [nothing fancy or special, unlike the Painted Teacup whoâs prices are the same but at least has special food]. An Afternoon Tea that would be about $14 to $17 other places was closer to $28 or $29 here. [Iâm speaking of the 3-tiers with scone, 5 tea sandwiches, petit-four and sweets].
