Gangi Pizza — Restaurant in Throop

We tried this place back when COVID was at it's peak. The food was amazing. We didn't come in, they brought it out to us in the parking lot. We really appreciated the extra care during that time. The food was amazing.

We finally got to try it again, in house. The space is really nice. They have a dining room that should please anyone. There are booths, lower tables and higher tables.

Now, on to the food... Amazing. The pizza crust is really tasty and crisp. The sauce is great and the cheese sauce also. Today, we went with pepperoni. It's one of the best pepperoni pizzas ever. On our first trip, we tried a different pizza and it was just as pleasing. The service was okay.

Such quality! Brilliantly good crust. Very friendly curbside, no-contact service with full mask wearing. I look forward to trying some of the other menu items beyond the excellent pie.

The above was my first-impression review from a couple of years ago; it took a while to get back because we moved out of state, but the other day we went to Ganji to dine in, and the food (and the people) continue to impress. This time we had a regular round pie ... Except, with their unusual approach to cheese (almost a cheese sauce) Ganji doesn't really do "regular!" Still excellent, though. We'll keep...

This place is a hidden gem! I've lived in the area for 4 years and went there to try to find a better pizza than what we've been getting. Pretty sure this is my new favorite place for pizza. The crust was fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauce was very flavorful and the cheese had an amazing blend of spices. The hot wing stromboli was overflowing with mozzarella and tender chicken. Definitely quality food, better than anything I've had in the entire Scranton area!...
