Porkiez Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Throop

Porkiez has easily become my favorite place in my hometown of Throop. The owners are so kind, and the girls behind the bar are the best. They treat everyone like family! The Porkiez margarita is my favorite and they jokingly say they’ll have it ready for me every time I walk in the door! And I always accept. I also love Ethan’s fish fry every time it’s available, and the wing flavors are always delicious. My new favorite menu item is the hot wing pierogis. The tincan nachos are also another favorite. my family and friends have been going there on Friday nights for years, tonight after a softball game, we brought six families. I asked her we have separate checks and the sarcastic waitress said absolutely not. That's not what we do so there she started the night with a negative vibe not the right kind of beer. My wife had to add up the bill it took her 22 minutes. We had a separate it. I said we're ready to pay the bill and she says you're gonna have to wait, so we left the cash on the table , We're not coming there again ever we find another place that has waitresses that are professional and courteous not miserable with an attitude....

Tonight was my first time attending Porkiez bar, for the Coors Light Penguins player signing! I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the entire staff tonight!! I don't think you guys were expecting the turnout you received and you all handled it like ROCKSTARS!!! For how extremely busy you were, you were all kind and friendly and the food was delicious and made perfectly for how busy it was! Thank you for the positive experience! We will definitely be back and recommend to others!!

Update: 5 months later and we still order take out from here!! Love the wings bites and the mushroom burger with fries...
