Ottsville Inn — Restaurant in Tinicum Township

Wondering where the reviews about the bartender/waitress are?? Middle aged woman was so rude from the moment we entered the restaurant. Went on a nice Tuesday evening the place seemed relatively busy so I approached the bar and asked if it was okay to sit outside to which the bartender extremely rudely said, “I mean is there an open table?!” I politely said yes and excused myself with no guidance or menus. 15 mins later the bartender (our server) came out to ask what we were having to drink. When I asked what she had on draft since we werent presented with drink menus she rolled her eyes and very bluntly said “I’ll need ID” (I’m 25 and don’t look it). After that she didn’t come back for close to 45 mins. We went inside to order and she admitted she forgot about us with a whoops. I paid for our meal inside. In the TWO HOURS we were there we saw the waitress twice. The food was decent but the service was pathetic and honestly heartbreaking for how disrespectful and rude she was. I did not leave a tip but instead a note to explain our disappointment. With tough times like this I’m more than happy to be a gracious tipper and was looking forward to experiencing a yummy local spot. I would absolutely be willing to reimburse the waitress for her tip if she could offer an apology and a promise to better service. Unfortunately I think this place is a local hangout for...

We really looked forward to dining at the Inn… we are local in Pipersville and thought how great to have a neighborhood place to go! Wait person was lovely… but unfortunately the food and beverage experience fell very short. Chowder had good flavor, but lukewarm. They really should just not bother with the salad- small with maybe a half cup romaine and two toppings. Mains, not very flavorful. Asked for shelf drink, simple to make and they skipped an ingredient & it was v harsh- didn’t taste like the shelf. This was my 1st time to this restaurant. The GPS directions were lacking, lol. They wanted me to make a right turn into the middle of a building. We were a larger party. There were only a few patrons having dinner. The food was delicious. I.had eggplant manicotti. Delicious. There was no skin on the eggplant.... such a huge plus.
