I recently had breakfast with a family member of mine at this diner and ordered the steak and eggs breakfast with hash browns and wheat toast and my family member ordered the Gyro omelet and both of us were very disappointed when we received our food. First off, the cut of meat that they served ( TOP SIRLOIN) was nothing but FAT & GRISSEL, it looked edible when the waitress served me but the second I cut into it and tried to chew it I thought it was a piece of leather. My family member described his omelet as being bland and there was hardly any Gyro meat as well as having eggshells in it. I personally didn't even finish 1/4 of the meal and the same went for my family member. When the owner was confronted he blew it off like it was nothing and offered nothing to fix the issue, I will say the waitress was very nice and very attentive. Google says the restaurant is open till 12 but the kitchen closed before nine. When you go in there and it’s five or nine and you ask for a drink and get a drink and there’s no kitchen available. It’s quite disappointing. This is the second time I have been in that restaurant and been sincerely disappointed in the kitchen time frame or the Actual food. There will be a third time! Exceptionally disappointing! As I told the waitress had you said that there were no menus because there were no food because the kitchen was closed I would not have ordered drinks. I've always had a good experience here. We went there today and just got standard breakfast items which were all good. We had a few extra people join us and there wasn't room for all of us, which was just due to bad timing and not the restaurant's fault. A few visits ago one of my fellow diners thought their hot beef sandwich didn't taste right and their replacement sandwich was bland. I had a good mushroom burger there last time. I had a chicken sandwich the time before and it was good as well. The soup de jour was nothing not write home about. The staff is friendly and check on you regularly.
