Worst service and worst tasting latte ever !
I come in and. try to place an order and the person at the cash register doesn’t even greet me let alone acknowledge me. Just a blank stare. No ,” good morning, how can I help you, or, welcome to Black Kite how can we help you go ahead and order when you’re ready". Nothing, just a stare . Apprx 20-30 seconds go by with person staring at me then, I finally figure she’s unable to communicate but more than likely can hear me, so, I place my order, and to my surprise she can actually speak and tells me my total.
This is just the beginning .
While I’m waiting for my order 4 more people come in behind me and place orders, all the while I’m staring at the coffee grinder/espresso machine while one person sees me but continues with making meat pies. The other, I’m assuming a manager possibly, all the while I’m waiting along with all the people that come in behind me she ignores everyone and does nothing to assist with doing something as low effort as making coffee drinks, can’t even pour one customer a cup of hot water for his tea he ordered . She stares at me but continues speaking with the other 2 employees(one man'ng the cash register, the other, making meat pies, or, whatever it is he’s doing are busy , all she continues doing is speaking to the other two and is so sensationally lazy she refuses to help push any orders out .
I end up waiting 15mins for a latte .
POOR SERVICE!
I’d give a negative 5 stars if it were possible
The latte, I couldn’t take more than a couple sips of because it was so horrible .
Save your $5.50 and go elsewhere .

Read moreI hate to give bad reviews but this is honestly due today. I try to see the good in everyone and everything but today I went to get coffee with my Fiancee after church today and she had asked what was in the winter spice blend and the guy gave her attitude and then I asked if they did pour overs and the guy said "yeah but are you sure you really want that it's going to take a long time.." as he gestured at the row of cups Infront of him. I asked him if it would be any quicker to get a latte and he said "no you'll still have to wait like everyone else." Nowhere and at no time did I ask to get my coffee before anyone else just that I wanted a pour over and the guy did everything he could to convince me not to get it like me wanting it was a burden to him. To top off the ordeal we waited forever for the coffee and then he was yelling out a completely different name than mine when we picked it up. The guy never once even apologized for any bit of this and I was very close to walking out the entire time. Honestly I don't know if I would ever go back to this place especially after how that guy treated me and my fiancee. If this is how you feel it's okay to treat people when they ask for something...
Read moreHad to wait twenty minutes for my coffee. People behind me in a larger group were getting their orders first despite the fact that when they saw me alone they offered to let me go ahead since I was just one drink and they figured theirs would take longer.
The person making the drinks was not one of multi-tasking and was making each drink one by one despite the fact that it appeared the machine was capable of at least producing two drinks at a time.
They were also not projecting their voice so the only people that could hear them call out a name or type of drink were people immediately around the counter which led to several drinks sitting on the counter for long periods and confusion when people finally came up as the employee could not remember what was what since they were not labeled with a name or type of drink.
At least one other customer had to wait just as long for their drink and then longer for their food order as it was not written down and he had to remind them at least twice and when he eventually got it they had to remember it was sitting in the microwave for a while.
The coffee was good and fairly priced, though.
TLDR:...
