We were traveling from Seattle to Portland and I was craving a coffee. Starting checking out online where we could find someplace and I prefer privately held businesses over any chain stores and this place popped up as an option although with the Bridge out was about 10m off the interstate. Decided to give it a shot after reading the reviews (all great) and now am leaving my own great review! Great ambience, awesome service and the coffee tasted great also. Looked up the specifics on this little town and found out there is a population of only 641 people and that made this an even better find. If you are in the area it is worth the trip.

Unfortunately I can only rate this place from looks. Inside it is very charming and inviting! When we arrived there were 2 people ahead of us and we were told that it would be a wait because one individual doesn’t make coffee and the other was busy. While waiting for ~10 minutes it appeared that the individual making coffee also runs insurance or some other type of business and was busy with that customer. At least one of the individuals ahead of us was waiting to sign some papers. After deducing that we decided to leave. I had high hopes for such a cute place, but left very disappointed.

This coffee shop is hidden away a bit, the sign out front just says, “Taxes and Espresso”. It does not look like a coffee shop from the outside, but it is worth going in. It is the only real coffee shop in the area and I’m glad we have it. Pleasant atmosphere, a place to sit, good Battdorf & Bronson beans. I do wish there was a bit more food selection. They have some muffins and cookies, but a limited selection. Prices are fair and reasonable.

I found this place by accident on my way to Seattle. My husband wasn't ready to go that far off the highway) It is wonderful that we have come to this wonderful place. We met a very charismatic and charming Lady and got a Super delicious coffee, our children are crazy about the atmosphere inside, especially the handmade soap, it smells all over the car for a week , a wonderful aroma . Super coffee machine, and the hostess made us different mixes to try so we got more impressions and shows! Thank you so much)Success in business. You will not regret it for sure !Супер вкусный кофе, лучший в моей жизни! Прекрасная хозяйка магазина кофе. Вы также найдете там сладости, мед, мыло ручной работы. Очень уютно и атмосферно !
