Customer service was great food was only ok and here’s why. I order a fish dinner with Mac and yams and a side order of greens with a cup of koolaid. My fish wasn’t cooked fresh tasted like it has been sitting for a few hours. It wasn’t bad had a really good taste just cold, the Mac was EXCELLENT the best thing on my plate, yams I really didn’t care for had a tangy taste or something greens had entirely to much pepper literally that’s all I taste was pepper and I don’t think they were fresh greens taste like something out a can. Koolaid taste watered down . I’m not going to say it was an all around bad experience that‘a why I gave it a 3 and I would shop again I just know what not to...

"Cat" the bartender was very nice and welcoming. She took our order and got our drinks. The cook "Charlene" definitely did her thing in the kitchen. The food was on point and seasoned well. We got chicken wings (perfect). greens (melt in your mouth), potato salad (tasted like your gramma's), pork chops (very good), mac n cheese, and baked beans. The mac n cheese had a tangy twist to it. Sort of different, but good. Still trying to figure out what was in it to make it so different. The baked beans had cinnamon in them. Maybe a Toledo thing. Never had them like that. Again different, but still very good. We will go back every time we are over that...

First time coming here just passing through. I ordered the Mac and cheese fried whiting fish, yams, and the collard greens. The fish was extremely good, Fresh hot and crispy! The customer service was also very good! The woman was super nice and accommodating. If I’m in the area I’d definitely come back despite the haters in the parking lot trying to deter us from ordering here. You would think black people could learn and understand how to support one another and stick together as much as possible now a days! Especially in 2024! Wasn’t a good look but I pray that this business continues to prosper! Very satisfied with my meal....
