📣 HIDDEN GEM ALERT!! We traveled to Toledo, OH over the wknd and wanted a diner style breakfast. This place has a homey, warm, comfortable feel that was surprisingly refreshing 😊 .... You're greeted right away, not by a hostess, but by THE ENTIRE FLOOR STAFF and anyone else who makes your acquaintance! There is a dedicated wall in back filled with photos of veterans and those who are currently in the armed services that is truly humbling. Not to mention a book shelf with various books donated by patrons; which you're free to take one as well as donate. Our waitress was wonderful, very accommodating always making sure we had what we needed/wanted. I order the steak and eggs (prepared medium) with country potatoes that I quite enjoyed. Now, I will say that I had to add salt to my steak, but other than that breakfast was good. My fiance ordered the corned beef hash with eggs and bacon while the kids both had french toast. Everyone enjoyed their meals as well as the overwhelming hospitality! I'd definitely recommend this diner to travelers and locals alike. Price point was good, foods good with a wonderful staff and great atmosphere. Thank you KT's!

This was supposed to be a chef salad. When I opened the container I noticed that it wasn't quite a full salad so I decided to look underneath the toppings. That's when I saw how bad the lettuce was. At first I thought it was just a couple pieces. Through further investigation, I found that it was nearly the entire salad. There is no way this should have be served for human consumption. With all the food poisoning and contamination going on right now, you would think KTs would be more careful with what they feed their customers. When I called to tell them about the problem they was barley an apology and definitely no concern. They were more worried about me bringing in the salad back as if I may not have been telling the truth than retaining me as a customer and rectifying the situation. This was my first and last experience with KTs.

I really wanted to love this place. We just moved and this restaurant is less than a mile away. Been there for breakfast twice and wasn't impressed. The eggs Benedict was good not great. The sausage gravy lacked sausage. The don't know how to make a omelet. They mix the ingredients with the eggs while cooking it instead of cooking it on the side and stuffing it in the folded omelet. The restaurant is kinda dirty and run down. Service was good. I plan on coming back to try their lunch. I hear they have good hamburgers. But I doubt I'll go back for breakfast.

We walked in on a Sunday morning it was very busy. I need to mention that we live two hours away and were visiting family in the area.

One of the waitresses made a beeline for a family member who eats here regularly, and started accusing us of being here two weeks ago and causing trouble over a table? We haven't been here since last year and were certainly not here two weeks ago.

As I said, we live hours away. My family member tried to tell her that we do not eat here and live far far away, but she insisted that it was us that caused a problem and said that hopefully we learned our lesson.

The food and service was fine, it's not a bad little place to eat, but being given the stink eye accused of being troublemakers by a waitress we've never seen in our lives, at a restaurant we never eat at was very...
