Waited for about an hour for food and (most) of the staff treated us poorly. I worked in food service for about 7 years so I know what they have to deal with on a daily basis and I know the work flow of an establishment like this, and thatâs why I can say with certainty that no one on that shift was doing much more than standing around. At first I thought it was understaffed and felt bad but at one point about 7 people showed themselves in the window at once so I know it wasnât a staffing issue. My friends and I (who have just about as much food service/management experience as I do) also commented on how bad the service was. The wait was extremely long but I wasnât shocked by that, because most fast food places have been like that since covid in my experience. What made the ordeal bad was that we had waited in line for about 40 minutes (I had already paid on the app so I wasnât about to just drive away) and as we got to the window, they didnât once open it to acknowledge us or make us aware of any additional wait, and we proceeded to wait at the window for an additional 20 minutes. During those 20 minutes we watched three girls just standing and talking to eachother- getting themselves drinks from the fountain, telling stories, etc. Now I know from experience that sometimes there isnât anything you can do but wait for certain things, the issue was that we were never spoken to and they did this plainly in view of the window, not caring at all. At least hide I guess. We finally got our food and the lady at the window was lovely when handing it out and the only one who was enjoyable through the whole experience. There was one item I ordered and Iâve received it wrong multiple times from other Taco Bellâs in the past so I immediately opened it to check because there was no way Iâd make my friends wait in that line again to get my one item fixed. It was made with meat instead of beans (I canât consume meat so I always swap the ingredient and have this particular item favorited on the app so I know itâs always ordered correct) so I immediately asked for it to be remade as I normally would any other time this had happened. Up until this point, no one had attitudes. The girl at the window and myself were nice to one another, and I had kept any feelings about the ordeal to myself because it wouldnât benefit either party. When I told them I wanted the item remade, the initial encounter was fine. Then I was asked about 3 times by different people what was wrong with it and why I needed it remade. It was simple - it had meat on it and I canât consume meat for medial reasons. At this point an extremely rude boy pops in the window and barks âwhatâs the problem?!â At me and I was so confused. I then had to explain to him 5 times why I was asking for it to be remade and I didnât understand why he was getting loud and aggressive with me over a burrito. He insisted it was made correctly and I told him I had literally bitten into it to check, and it had meat in it. At this point all 7 or so of the staff is by the window standing around like confused sims characters over my one item that would have taken two minutes to remake. They closed the window, stared at my order, deliberated for a few more minutes, stared at my order again, before deciding they đŽđ”đȘđđ didnât believe me and asked for the burrito back. I gave it back, and I had taken a bite out of it to check and spit it out, and I could hear the rude boy from earlier exclaiming something like âoh she wants it remade but sheâs eating it!â. I truly canât understand what was so confusing to them about the situation. Finally 5 minutes later the item is finally remade and the nice girl from the beginning handed it to me. Honestly yâall need to reevaluate your staff cause the wait times are bad because theyâre simply not doing anything, not because theyâre short staffed or too busy. The Taco Bell in Maumee runs better and theyâre đąđ€đ”đ¶đąđđđș short staffed. Normally I wouldnât even bother but the service was so laughable I felt I needed to...
Read moreMe & my boyfriend stopped at Taco Bell on Alexis for a late night snack. I had a bean burrito and a Peach Tea & he also had a bean burrito & a supreme taco. The service at this Taco Bell was excellent compared to the Taco Bell on our side of town that we usually go to at Dorr & Reynolds. We had to wait in line as there were about 5 cars ahead of us, but it went fairly quickly until the person right in front of us but I think he ordered quite a bit of food. The young lady that worked the drive through was so very nice and we even told her she did an excellent job as she was very polite and exactly how a customer service rep should be & that's few and far between these days! I only wish the Taco Bell closer to our home at Dorr and Reynolds had such wonderful customer service as this Taco Bell did, we would maybe order from them more often. The food was nice and hot and exactly how we ordered it and was a great late night snack. Wonderful job Taco...
Read moreI had one of the absolute worst days of my lifeâmentally and emotionally, I was at my limit and had been crying non-stop. I placed a mobile order and waited in the designated pick-up spot, but my order was accidentally left sitting on the counter.
When I came inside to ask about it, I explained what had happened, and the entire staff at the 2234 W Alexis Rd, Toledo location couldnât have been kinder. They immediately remade my entire order without hesitation and even offered me free items for the inconvenience. But what really mattered to me wasnât the foodâit was how genuinely compassionate and understanding they were.
In a moment where I felt like giving up, they went out of their way to make my night better. Their kindness reminded me that there are still good people in the world. I walked out with more than a mealâI walked out feeling seen.
Thank you to the entire team. You made a real difference in someoneâs life tonight, and Iâll...
